list of acts alphabetical from screenshot. I see Robyn/Tame/Suede/Stereolab being near the top. A bit meh for me at first glance.

I would cry if this festival was stateside. It’s beautiful and Tame might have the album out by then.

Liz Phair's 6th(?) ever show in Europe and first in 16 years.

I take it Guided By Voices didn't break up in 2014.

super stacked as always. but it does hurt the eye looking at the poster and thinking that none of the first line names would headline anywhere else at the moment.

Ride had Euro dates announced before Coachella 2015 dropped.

Coachella isn't the reunion priority it once was, where GV paid big to be the first to announce DFA1979/Postal Service etc...

Stereolab wouldnt be an insane get for Coachella, they would get decent billing but an empty stage. They end up at Pitchfork most likely.

Stereolab was never as big as those acts here either. Coachella wasn't the first to get or announce the Avalanches and yet they still made it to the lineup. No reason Stereolab couldn't.

Seems not even Primavera is safe from pandering to the masses.

The headliners are their weakest in years, but there's a lot of good stuff. Overall, it doesn't entice me to fly overseas to attend.

Considering its 50/50 male female, thats prob why. You want the dude party again.

If you’re looking for a Spanish festival that’s nearly all male, it’s Mad Cool.

Did the Doves turn them down or was it just a Noel Gallagher favor?

I was hoping at least prima would be safe but this could just be a year with a lot of touring bands that arent doing a ton of fest dates. After talking with my friend we both decided its going to be a fun trip regardless and it's really exciting seeing a lineup where 80% of it is all new to us. After spending some time with the poster and spotify last night I came up with a pretty decent list of acts to see that week - majority of which ive either missed live or have never heard of. Not to mention theres always the possibility of flying to Ibiza for a night too haha

Feels realistic to me. Their first UK show is just a week or two earlier. Wouldn't surprise me if that date was picked and treated like a warm-up before the big show / getting to reunite at home.

I was going to see Doves at Glastonbury, but they were on the same time as Neil Young.

The show is part of a series for charity, just timing more than anything. Theyve already announced a couple more shows which are in june, so who knows. Theyll be low and have an empty stage though, just like Stereolab would.
