At least Sasquatch is consistent in putting out a bad lineup annually. This festival has got to go.

Wow holy shit, that is a killer lineup. Better than Coachella for me.

Really great to see a lineup that doesn't suck absolute balls. The lack of any really good electronic music on this lineup is unfortunate tho, woulda been a no brainer for me with even just 5 or 6 acts.

Yet the same people who put on Bottlerock, put this on, Live Nation. So why arent you part of the booking brain trust?

I've been wanting to go to the Gorge for some time. This might pull me there.

this is a really unique lineup, but I don't know if it's enough to get me back to the Gorge. the first time I ever saw The National was at Sasquatch 2008, when their bus broke down and they "cancelled" but wound up playing the Yeti stage to a small crowd because no one knew about the new set time/stage. it almost seems sort of fitting that I return when The National is headlining.

A lot of festivals seem pretty thin on the electronic this year. Paradiso is at the Gorge 3 weeks later and sucks up all the EDM cheese, but it would have been nice to get something like a Four Tet or a John Talbot though.

Worth checking out Tokimonsta, Barclay Crenshaw (Claude Vonstroke's alter-ego), Petit Biscuit, Oliver, Nao, Lemaitre, Too Many Zooz (not really electronic but dancy) and Jlin if you are unfamiliar with any of them. I agree it's pretty thin on bigger names though.

Wow this lineup is absolutely stacked. I'm not personally that into too many acts on this lineup to get me to make the trip out there, but this is objectively one of the best lineups this year.
My old account "Mikey1313666" is down for whatever reason.

Nice to see they went back to 3 days, skipping the long weekend Monday. Might get some of the Canadians interested again.

Little surprised not to see The Killers, who do Napa on the Saturday.

I'm keeping an eye on this one. I've always wanted to attend an event at the Gorge and the lineup is good enough to draw me there. This is at the top of my list for a festival by flight so far

I'm glad the lineup is back to its indie roots, but I just don't care that much about Modest Mouse anymore after seeing them 4 times. Bon Iver and The National feel like they're more lie down on a blanket on the hill and chill out kinda headliners as opposed to get up to the front pit.
What used to be my YouTube Channel before dozens of my Coachella footage were flagged for copyright and my channel was terminated, erasing 10 years of Coachella and live concert history (that I recorded) from the internet.

All three of the bands have headlined before. Modest Mouse are overdone at the festival, but they're local heroes so what can you do. The National and Bon Iver are headlining other festivals of similar size, and I've seen both at a festival at night and thought it worked really well.

Not to mention the Gorge is easily the best sit-on-a-blanket-and-chill venue I have ever been to, so there's really nothing wrong with sitting on the hill in warm clothes and enjoying the sets that way.

I'm more than fine with these headliners if it means we get an undercard like that. I'm kind of sick of top heavy lineups anyway.

Good for Sasquatch not feeling beholden to booking a bevy of rap and electronic acts. This feels like straight-up chivalry after the past couple years of festival lineups.

Nope, but when u put out a weak lineup it's easy to make them seem headliner worthy due to their 3 hits from over 10 years ago

Yeah why play Sasquatch when you can play the Musink festival with Lil Yachty and Good Charlotte!

So, I'm looking at the camping options and There's pretty big price gap between standard and the next option, premier. What do you vets recommend? Also, how much does a shower cost in standard?

Showers are $3 according to their FAQ. Would like to know if Premier is worth it too.

I'm thinking of making this trip up there. My plan is to just buy a camping spot for now and hold off on festival tickets in case prices drop or it gets cancelled like that July 4th lineup a few years back. You guys think there's any chance of that happening?

Ah, didn't see that. Thanks! I'm planning to buy later as well, but flight is booked, so I pray they don't cancel this one. I doubt they do though. They were shooting for two seperate foward-thinking festivals in the span of two months. In retropsect, it seems obvious that wouldnt succeed
