Not the most exciting, but not the worst. There's enough to have a good time, but for $500+? Well, irrelevant since I don't have that for any festival right now. I've gotten over the "So and so isn't playing but so and so is? Fuck this." stage in my life, so I'll definitely go if I can get in through work again, though.

I was torn between pretty decent and superb, went with pretty decent. The lineup heavily caters to my deep electronic affinity, so going to spend a lot of time in the Yuma. A bit bummed Slowdive, Jon Hopkins, Broken Social Scene, Grizzly Bear, Vampire Weekend and a few others are missing, but hopefully some of those pop up on next year's lineup. Overall, I think this lineup will come out looking better once other American fests announce their lineups.

It's amazing how just a couple of little differences would make a huge impact. Substitute SZA & Cardi B for The National and Slowdive, or something like that, and the entire lineup would have a better overall feel. As it is now, "meh" at best, disappointing at worst.

They only reason I put "okay" is because it has been a dream of mine to see Eminem since I was a young kid. Other than him there are a few acts I am happy to see but it seems like I will be spending a majority of the day messing around opposed to trying to see everyone. I already know the acts I do want to see will probably end up overlapping as well which is also a bummer ha.

This lineup looks so much better after seeing most of the US 2018 fest lineups announced.

It literally always does. I think the last time a major NA festival actually gave Coachella a run for its money was Roo in 2014, and I'd still come out and put Coachella ahead of that. The last few years it hasn't even been close.

Oh man, you just made me miss the days of Bonnaroo competing with Coachella. I'd argue the older Lolla lineups would give Coachella a run for its money as well.

The way that you know Coachella is #1 is because everyone always wants to say "_______'s lineup is so much better than Coachella".

It's crazy how quickly the Roo lineups imploded.

All thanks to Live Nation and C3 Presents. This year's lineup is at least better than the last two years, but it still doesn't hold a candle to the Roo of old.

2014 was the last good Bonnaroo lineup.

2015, while criticized at the time, was pretty good too. Headliners were a bit weak, but it marked one of Kendrick's first big headlining performances. Undercard had acts like Caribou, Jamie xx, King Gizzard, Courtney Barnett, Jungle, etc. before they really became festival regulars. Plus, legends like D'Angelo, Tears for Fears, Earth, Wind & Fire, Slayer, etc. I think it was the last year booked by AC too, and it certainly shows.
