Did this sell out last year?
The LA show sold out pretty quick. Most shows on the tour did sell out.

We are staying a mile up the road on Yucca Mesa and plan on biking - should be a fun night ride!

Nice! Hell you could walk or bike that being so close haha...We'll be at the Best Western Gardens at the western edge of Twentynine Palms...It's 14.5 miles away, but a straight shot back and forth, so just a little over a 10 minute car ride...

Belly Up is the best venue in SD. Pregaming around Solana Beach is essential for any Belly Up concert.

^If it did, it sold out right before the festival started...So you should totally be okay if you don't buy right away...You could also go the payment plan ticket route...2 of my friends did that last year, and it worked out just fine for them.

I wonder if MC 900 ft Jesus might land on this bill. He's playing his first couple of shows in ages and seems like a good fit. At least to me haha.

Unfortunately I don't think so. They are booked with shows during that time in SLC and DEN. Was hoping they would be. Luckily get to see them here in PDX the Wed before I head down to DD

Sinkane seems probable. Finishing his tour in L.A. the week before.

Good call! Sinkane would be a nice change of pace, and he's definitely available...I'll add him to the list!

So, do we think that the Courtney Barnett/Kurt Vile set is a headliner? I would assume Spiritualized is, but maybe not?

One might be. I think it would be strange to announce two of your headliners before the actual lineup comes out though, no?

Courtney Barnett/Kurt Vile are probably sub-headliners...Spiritualized definitely is one of the headliners...We will get the rest of them come Wednesday, but maybe we will get some hints/teasers before then...

Would be cool to see some bay area acts get on there like Feral Ohms, Hot Lunch, a Comets on Fire reunion, Mondo Drag, Slough Feg, or Pins of Light (for a heavy add).

    ^Cool shit...Is this a well-established act, or a new upcoming band?

A Comets on Fire reunion would be awesome...More realistically, Heron Oblivion or Feral could end up on the bill...I've added those two and Liars to the mix on the thread's top post...

Sweet! Doesn't seem to be any noticeable differences from last year. Still no water station near the Wright tent which is a bummer but as long as the campground one works should be all good

it got hot during the day and a little chilly in the evening but I wouldn't call it extreme.

^Yeah the temps were in the mid/high 80s last year during the day, and high 50s at night...That's what the weather is generally like in Joshua Tree in mid-October...So no, not extreme at all...We kept it simple and rocked out in t-shirts & shorts/jeans during the day, and put on hoodies at night when needed.

Wonder if we'll have any crossovers from the recently announced Foo Fighters Cal Jam? In San Bernadino, the weekend before.

    Tomorrow can't come soon enough!!

Looks like The Kills or Wolf Alice could be available for Daze...Royal Blood would be out, since they are touring with QOTSA...Once again, I'll update the top post with these and any other last minute suggestions...Only 1 more day to go til we get the goods!
