It's far from my musical tastes, but I thought it's a fucking awesome addition to the festival and already is starting to get its own vibe. Loved the decorations on the wall, it seems like they nailed the size. I can see this growing in booking power and developing a cult following like the Yuma as the years grow, as well as being able to support a full day of programming as its stature grows.

After a hectic start to the fest on Friday, seeing Taco Cat in the Sonora totally got me on track into in the flow of the festival. Super fun set, great tent. There are places to sit, the a/c was cranked, and the graffiti art was fun. Hoping to spend more time in there during w2, especially with the heat jumping up.

Glad everyone seems to think this one is cool since I plan to see quite a few sets in this tent this weekend. I'm a simple man with simple tastes, the electric guitars are in the Sonora so that's where I'll be.

This was by far the best thing all weekend. I really hope this stage is here to stay.
Tacocat, Shannon and the Clams, GBV, Las Ligas Menores, Slow Hollows, Surf Curse, Current Joys and TSOL were my favorites. Hinds would probably have been on the list if I made it on time Sunday.
New Order, Swet Shop Boys, and Tennis were my favorite non Sonora acts.

Yeh another thumbs up over here. Would spend much more time here if there was a beer garden. Its the perfect music to enjoy a few cold ones and get rowdy before heading out into the night!

I had a blast in here! It was fun to see these smaller bands in an air conditioned tent at 1-2pm when the sun was the hottest. I loved the latin flair of it, Quitapenas really stole the show for us, and we really enjoyed Thee Commons, Downtown Boys, and of course the legends GBV.

Another massive thumbs up from me. TSOL and Interrupters were in my top 5 of the weekend. Hope this becomes a permanent fixture at the festival.

The vibe in here was so fun. I saw QUINTAPENAS and loved it. Different dancing, smiles, and chill both literally and figuratively.

This stage was awesome. The air conditioning was a lifesaver and it was great enjoying these bands in an intimate environment instead of an awkwardly empty larger stage.
The Paranoyds killed it. Also saw Tacocat, Slow Hollows, Shannon and the Clams, Surf Curse.

Cuco is headlining the first day of Viva Pomona this year. French Vanilla has also self-confirmed. Full lineup should drop soon. Considering the overlap between this festival and the Sonora, I'd imagine a lot of these acts will play Coachella next year.

Nevermind maybe Surf Curse just got added.

I love this stage, but I spent almost half my time here since the rest of the fest was light on guitar acts. Not sure that a punk+ festival in a small tent is really worth $429 plus overpriced accommodations. We'll see.
I have been to concerts. I will go to concerts in the future.
