Default King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

Guess these guys didn't have thread!?

Like many on the boards know, they are phenomenal live - don't miss them!

Here's their recent set at Webster Hall, which includes four brand new songs (Alter Me, Altered Beast 2, Alter Me 2, Altered Beast 3):

Hoping for a Nonagon Infinity heavy setlist, but unfortunately I don't think we'll get it.

Also hoping that like Desaparecedos in 2015 they are an out of nowhere mid-day 60-70 minute set, but also doubt it.

Agree with silver about the Nonagon thing, that record is definitely a blaster. Looking forward to this show so much anyway

Imagining their set will consist of a few microtonal songs, some from Nonagon, a couple of these new ones and some longer jams. Maybe something like this?

    Sleep Drifter
    Nuclear Fusion
    Rattlesnake
    Robot Stop
    Gamma Knife
    People Vultures
    New songs
    The River
    Cellophane
Am I in Heaven? / Medley

    lol of course you did(n't)

Also I am genuinely bummed that because GV is dumb and didn't book these guys til this year, a ton of people will miss out on some of the joys of Head On/Pill and In Your Mind

unless they throw us a bone and play them for funsies. I don't know, I'm not super crazy about the newest album beyond Rattlesnake.

regardless, and the Floorplan conflict already makes me hurt, I plan on being at this set. It will be the....9th or 10th time i've seen them live

I watched that Webster Hall set on the live stream last Friday and got so pumped.

I was so hoping they'd play Mr Beat, but they haven't so far on this tour leg. I'm hoping for Open Water from the new album but that's one they've skipped on some recent dates so who knows. Thing is, I love pretty much all their songs so I'm sure I'll enjoy whatever they play.

And it's about time we had a thread for them. Thanks rafinha.

Gonna have to tread carefully with being appropriately sloppy for this show and still making it to Radiohead

If my Coachella starts with the Interrupters into Denzel Curry into King Gizzard, I might need to pack like 4 shirts

I was being serious. I have skipped them multiple times here because the tracks I had heard are not at all what I like from them

Excuse me for not doing any homework, but do they play much stuff from 12 Bar Bruise? Definitely dig on that album a lot. That, Nonagon, and I'm in Your Mind Fuzz are my top 3 albums.

uhh none. don't expect any on this tour.

honestly best bet is to assume this set list with *maybe* an edit so that they play either Head On/Pill OR a In your mind into Cellophane. Word is that they have a few more albums to release this year so they're likely playing that stuff.

I don't think I remember seeing them on the original lineup, but it's now King Gizzard, Pond and ORB at the Hard Rock Pool on the Tuesday between Coachellas. I'm so stoked for that set, especially since I love Microtonal Flying Banana so much.

I followed Guedita randomly into a King Gizzard show in SF a few years ago and fucking loved it. I'm still not super familiar with the albums but they're live show is KILLERRRR. Not planning on missing this set....them closing a tent would be FUN
