Speaking of Hans Zimmer having a giant crowd, where is Slinky to give me a beer or something for claiming Hans crowd would be tiny?

Not surprising so many people had less the optimal experiences with the crowd for this. Happy for everyone that lucked out with good spots. Anyone disappointed with the crowd should look into shelling out for the fall tour. The SF show had a great crowd. The show itself was pretty good in my opinion and I thought it was fun to see the pieces translate into a rock show, although kind of cheesy at times. Did the set at Coachella show the pre-recorded angles of the instruments being played on a screen behind the orchestra? Kind of reminded me of Sia show for some reason.

Johann Johannsson has been scratched from the Blade-Runner 2049 score completely. This is now Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch's baby. I remember it was written a month or two ago about Hans and Benjamin coming aboard to help achieve that Vangelis atmosphere, but this sounds like a crippling blow to the Johannsson/Villenueve partnership.

I wonder how much of the score is actually Johannson's work, if any? I know Hans is a beast in the studio, and probably has some ideas stored, but this seems like a daunting task to make work in a two month period.

As for the movie, I didn't like the idea of a sequel when it was announced, but I've been feeling pretty pumped with the early positive reviews.

Welcome to the late party with that. actually the better thing is the collab with hans and jonny greenwood reworking Bloom for Planet Earth II, and he couldnt butcher the thing.
