lol. I'm with you on the growing appreciation of Burn the Witch.

Supposedly, the outro of Daydreaming is "half of my love" in reverse.

So I imagine Pitchfork has already written their BNM review of the new album with blanks throughout it to fill in with the names of the new tracks.

December 16-17 - Day For Night
    January 23 - Marilyn Manson
    January 25 - Sleep
    February 23 - St. Vincent
April 24 - Queens of the Stone Age
    April 26-28 - Levitation

I've been listening to some soundboards from their last tour and the KoL stuff really stands out. I don't think that people hate the album but its a lower tier Radiohead album.

Quality-wise, it's superb but the general mood/flow of it never really came out and grabbed me - maybe since it's only like 36 minutes long or whatever. Almost seems like a mini-album, like it was supposed to be an In Rainbows tour only EP. Do I hate it? No, of course not, but in comparison it just doesn't stack up.

This does not clear anything up for me.

My dogs don't like it though.

When I watch that outro now, I just know Thom is looking right at me and saying " I love you, man."

    Lulz.

Ok, I understand the KOL trashing a little more and I agree it's not a top tier Radiohead album. It's not shit by any means, but I guess the tendency is to hold Radiohead to Radiohead standards.

This is where I am. It's a very pretty song, but I think it needs that album context.

Oh, and I like King of Limbs. Compared to other Radiohead albums it doesn't hold up, but I'm able to enjoy just fine in its own right. I go back to 2 or 3 songs fairly consistently when I'm in the mood to listen to Radiohead.

It's a pile of indistinguishable shit on record, and not even redeemable live.

The only song from the King of Limbs era that I actually enjoyed and go back to often wasn't even on the album. I loved the song The Daily Mail. I tried to go back and listen to King of Limbs yesterday and found myself struggling to get through it. It's just boring and feels like it's another boring Thom Yorke solo album.

Obviously, I mean, Pablo Honey and everything. But I will say that this is the first negative reaction I've seen towards the band's live recreation of the album. To each his own, of course, but I get the feeling that you're trying way too hard here - still loudly voicing an extremely negative opinion about an album that was released over 5 years ago. Why are you still dwelling on it if it obviously bothers you this much?

Yeah, the King of Limbs show I caught was one of my least favorite ones, despite the intimacy of it. Still good, but nothing from that album hits anywhere as hard as the best In Rainbows stuff. On record or live.

Oh god, aren't you a delicate little flower. If your gentle, exposed heart can't handle all these EXTREMELY NEGATIVE OPINIONS voiced LOUDLY, perhaps it's time for you to find another place to hang out, rather than the one in which you currently find yourself, which is a fucking discussion thread on the internet, where varying opinions -- some of which you may not like and could possibly hurt your feelings -- tend to flow freely, and one person replying to another's comment is pretty standard practice and unremarkable and not an OH MY GOD YOU'RE DWELLING ON STUFF AND I'M REALLY SHOCKED YOU WOULD DARE SAY SUCH A THING situation.

Do you really role-play this dumb fucking routine with everyone on the webs that says something that makes you sad?
