Well done! Apparently, the International Space Station was in sight and orbiting over the area, too.

As for news about new Chemical Brothers music being released, it's been extremely slow. The most information we have mustered is from a recent German interview where Ed discusses that "Free Yourself" will be released as a single in September, and a new album is planned for next year.

(I hadn't watched the webcast rip yet.) the new stuff sounds great. I really hope they do fucking come here, but am really glad I got the chance to see them anyway.

oh also they were playing besides a giant fucking telescope. at times the festival would project stuff onto the building.

the festival itself was pretty chill. a dinky little thing where the portapotties stay clean all weekend. I had a really good time. saw some other great stuff too - warm digits and vessels both stood out.

I think I see myself up front there! I was also visiting for a wedding close by so I was able to go for them. Such an amazing show and location! I hope they make their way over here soon.

edit: Was it just me or did there seem to be a huge number of very young children there? Kind of gave me a weird feeling a couple of times.

woah, I did not expect another boardie to be there.

there were definitely lots of people who brought their kids, and I can see why, it was a very family friendly festival.

Yeah I get that for sure. I was just a few rows back from the rail, and there were a couple families packed in with everyone else with their ~ 6 year old kids getting pushed around. That was a bit strange for me is all. We ended up getting one of the inflatable bag things and hanging out for most of the day. Also did a quick telescope tour and went to one of the science talk things.

yeah I'd find little kids a few people from the front of that crowd a little weird too.

They'll be in Mexico City this November at the Corona Capital festival. Been there once a couple of years ago, it's great! I'm definitely planning on going this year to catch the Chems.

Just announced, first festival date 2019. All Points East, Victoria park, London. The festival is a Goldenvoice production so you know that means absolutely nothing, but why not stir the pot?!?!?!

Entertaining new video for their new track 'Free Yourself'. Including an awkward Tom and Ed cameo, and post credit short!
