i'm getting a lot of questions from noobs. im going to try to explain this simple/quick. others are welcome to chime in.
car camping spots are 10x30 and you park your car in the spot and put up tent(s). This is 98% of onsite camping at the festival. fit however many people in your spot that you want/can. you just need to buy the spot and everyone needs a festival pass.
*car camping spots require a car to be in the spot.
tent camping spots are 10x15 and are just tents only. you also get 1 parking spot in an adjacent parking lot to leave your car for the weekend. then you haul all your stuff over to where tent camping is. tent camping is a very very tiny area that is near one of the car camping lots. fit however many people in your spot that you want/can. you just need to buy the spot and everyone needs a festival pass.
If you plan to purchase a camping spot, you must buy one in the same order as your festival pass and they both must be used together for the camping spot to be valid.
WHAT ELSE DOES MY GROUP NEED?
if your group who is all camping in your spot is driving in multiple cars, the other car(s) will need a place to park for the weekend, the only overnight parking for extra cars is in the companion camping parking lot. buy one of those for the extra car.
*Camping spots and companion camping parking spots are good for the entire weekend.
*If your group is buying more than one camp spot, arrive together to camp next to each other.
I may edit/clarify this first post based on further questions.
