Hmmm... I'm not that tall: 5'6". From what little I've seen, I figured he'd be at least 5'8"
Let's refrain from using "little" when discussing physical attributes of a potential gentleman caller. As long as you're willing to let him grind on you during anything Blink-182, I don't see a problem here. You're both good-looking, young, have the same taste levels in music and live fairly close to each other. You two should catch a local show together and see what happens. Totally noncommittal and no strings!

You're quite the silly person Kvnty trying to set me up. If I ever ran into you I'm sure we'd have an interesting and entertaining conversation. Just to end this height nonsense I'm 5'9 and yeah Blink-182 is good but I dont find their songs grindable.
Rise Against have a new album dropping in the Summer so we'll see them at the next 3 KROQ events for sure, while in the mean time Fitz and the Tantrums and the Neighbourhood were two bands I once adored, but now they have become channel changers.
Between this thread and this yelp review, I may be hitting up this "power house" this Friday.
It smells like unemployment and broken dreams. Once you get over that it is the best dive bar ever! I can't even tell you the number of crazy things that have happened while drinking at the Power House. This place is like the closet in the Lion the Witch and the wardrobe. You walk in and you never know how long you will be there and what adventures lie ahead.
One night my friend and I were hanging out at the PH. Met some fancy guy with a mysterious accent. The guy took us to an after-hours where we were searched and our cell phones were confiscated. There were four security check points before we were allowed in. He got them to waive the $100 (each) cover fee!!! WTF??? The place was full of very expensive call girls and a lot people smelling something white and powdery. Britney Spears had just left. It was awesome.
Another night two sketchy guys ran in and threw $200 in cash on the bar and ran out. We didn't want to touch the money. The bartender assumed it was ours and paid for our drinks out of it. We figured that as long as we didn't touch the money it was technically not bad karma. I have soooo many stories like this. They all start at the Power House.
