Imagine, everyone took offense last year when i said prydz and his huge mantitties were just another run of the mill big room cheese house/trance act.

Seth hit the nail on the head when he said that the scene is full of people with zero credibility pretending like they know what is going on. Id say i have moderate credibility when it comes to edm music, and most people on this forum or at these festivals are light years behind me. That in itself is just fine, as long as you realize your minimal experience and are open to the truths that come down from people who have been raving for decades.

Pyrdz is now playing Madison Sqaure Garden in the September. Out of all the cheese crap, he's far from the worst. But holy crap, the dude is going to cash in big time if he does a stadium tour....which looks probable. halo 3.

The worst thing about this will not be the music or the show itself, but sharing that experience with "ultra" crowd peeps. Although, it wouldn't really bother me all to much.

Eric Prydz' cashout is long overdue. Unlike his Swedish mates he still manages to retain his own musical creativity without going big room garbage. Of course Eric Prydz of 2014 is NOT the same as Eric Prydz 2004 but that's okay as long as he continues with his integrity. There's a reason he split from the rest of the SHM guys in 2008.

No shit prydz isnt the same as he was in 2004. Barely anyone is playing prog house anymore, they have either migrated towards tech house(sasha), or big room slow trance(prydz). Real prog house sounds dated as fuck, since it is from 2004...
