Yup, just a site update. Announcement coming next week.
They would have to be fucking nuts not to announce the lineup and start moving ticket sales next week.

I agree but they have been dragging their heels this year so I'm trying not to get too excited for it.
The Tycho song was, Awake, and he last performed at TI in 2012.

take a little trip down @timfsf / treasure island memory lane. lineup coming next week!
Yep. I feel pretty cheated by this update about an update. Hopefully we're not looking at anything too underwhelming.
But then again, TI 2010 wasn't released until July and that was the best lineup they've ever had. Maybe they got something awesome and they're milking it...but most likely Jack White just fell through and they had to find a last second Plan B.
Yeah, or there are going to just have him headline Life Is Beautiful in Vegas instead and didn't want to share headliners. I think that LiB is going to poach some of the acts that would normally be at TI. Both are put on by APE and they only shared a few acts last year with most of them being lower level acts (except Beck).
Live 105s guestimate on the line-up:

With their touring schedule, Polica looks to be a lock.

Pretty sure this thread is the source of most of their info.
I see my Moderat, James Holden, and Metro Area picks did not make their cut
Yup. Lineup next week https://twitter.com/timfsf/status/477261598801657859 oh fuck fuck fuck
If Sylvan Esso actually makes it onto the lineup I will lose my shit.

Bah, didn't realize St. Vincent was out. Shame.
Take a look at those DJ Shadow/Cut Chemist tour dates.
When is deadmau5's new tour kicking off? I feel like it'll have to be some big named EDM act that will sell tickets for Saturday night.

How possible is it that Kraftwerk could be headlining Saturday? I know it's a left field pick but they have headliner weight for a festival like Treasure Island right?
As for other Saturday night acts Darkside and Washed Out are still on the table as likely right?
Looks like he is doing some shows during the summer; Pemberton, Las Vegas, and what looks like a European festival tour. Nothing scheduled after September 19th when he is in Mexico. So he would be in the mix.
I hate to say it but it looks like Skrillex is skipping SF on his Mothership tour. I know he did one of those takeovers early this year where he played like four venues in four days, so maybe thats why he skipped SF this time, or maybe he's headlining TI. Oh oh.
I don't think this is an album cover clue, as it looks like the top of the Transamerica Pyramid... but just in case:

Looking at these tour dates, I don't think so....they'll probably add a second show in LA or play somewhere in SF. Not Treasure Island

lol you actually follow him? Just read snippets of this on RS...
http://www.standard.co.uk/goingout/m...s-9534366.html“It’s another thing I can’t f*****’ stand, you know? Festivals are being branded bigger than the acts, which is totally backwards in my head,” he spits. “It’s ’cause of those acts that you’re a festival! Who wins? The promoter. The guy who’s throwing this festival that’s branded bigger than you, that you think you’re awesome for headlining. It’s a shame, so that’s why I’m pulling out.”
What exactly in my question suggests I actively "follow" deadmau5, Spooks?
