Who wins this conflict?
I have to go with Bonobo. Been building up to it since the lineup announcement. Not ready to just throw it out the window.
I'm going Nicolas Jaar. I've seen Bonobo before...
For me, any conflict that works out to DJ set vs Live set almost always ends up with me going for the live set. So Bonobo wins this one pretty easily for me.
who the fuck is Nicolas Jaar?

Bonobo will have a live band, right? Choice seems obvious if that's the case.
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
not all that familiar w bonobo but if jaar is dj'ing I'd go w the former. don't really rate him as a dj.
Yeah I know I mean even I am familiar with Bonobo.
then there's woodkid
Bonobo was definitely one of the biggest highlights yesterday. Serious baby makin music!
gave bonobo a shot last night ... best decision I made all day. great set
I voted for Bonobo although I saw Nicolas Jaar - biggest regret.
Wish I had seen Bonobo and gone to see darkside later instead.
Nicolas Jaar is not garbage - go clean your ears.
For one - he draws out his sets with skill, layering in slow psychedelic sounds, layer after layer, with a slow BPM to drive songs forward.
One of the first to introduce a really slowed down BPM - its his signature.
Listen to "Mi Mujer" and "And I Say"
My problem with him though is if you see him really late at night, especially after a strong amped dj - he can totally kill the mood and put the crowd to sleep.
Saw him in Brooklyn at 3am after an amazing French House dj took the decks and he went from being the most highly anticipated set, to the guy that thinned out the crowd...
I personally like his Darkside stuff more (Boiler room set from NY is phenomenal).
