F'real. It felt more like a 5 day hiking oddyssey that just happned to have music...either way, what an epic freaking weekend. Did anyone see Cashmere Cat absolutley destroy the Bamboo Sat night? Those lasers, those remixes, the energy...freaking EPIC!
I had a pretty rough time, as I injured my knee the week before, but I still had such an amazing experience. I wish my leg was in better shape so I could have checked out the rest of the festival. Being camped by the woogie, I never made it past the plateau that contained the main and bamboo stages. Regardless, it was pretty neat festival set up and I think they have potential at that location. Let's just hope there's a lake to swim in next year.
I do enjoy this festival A LOT every time I go, but it was pretty interesting seeing a picture of paris hilton in the booklet, and hearing rumors of some changes happening. Whatever the case, exposure for this festival is a good thing, as they really do put an effort into being conscious, compassionate, and eco friendly. Not to mention they do a wonderful job with production. I also really like seeing people create art throughout the weekend all over the festival, and then Sunday night all the art is in one place to view (or place a bid on if you've got the money). They pay attention to a lot of little things, and I definitely appreciate the little things.
