Who are the folkies on this lineup? So far I've found Frank Turner.
And James Vincent McMorrow altho he's not really folk to me,
Who am I missing?

Head and the heart are good live .
Spicy pie is mainstream shit.
Head and the Heart suck live. They're terrible. Saccharine faux-sincerity.
Frank Turner's not really folk. He's a rock and roll guy who plays some acoustic songs. He's not bad. (He's not particularly exciting, though).
City and Colour.
The Head and the Heart must have banged Tom's girl or something, his jimmies are so rustled.
Band A sucks.
So, I say, "Band A sucks". I elaborate, briefly, just to illustrate my point.
You conclude, "Band A must have had sex with Tom's special someone."
Now. You reveal much about yourself. What would Freud say about that? or Jung?
Folk is dead.
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.
Yacht folk.
Who do you consider folk on the Stagecoach lineup?
Florida Georgia Line, duh.
Stagecoach is not necessarily deep on it, but Shakey Graves, Sarah Jarosz, TBT, Shovels and Rope, Spirit Family Reunion, Hurray for the Riff Raff, and Jason Isbell are all great acts heavily influenced by the old folk legends.
Also, I'd like to reaffirm that the Head and the Heart are very solid live and seem to enjoy what they are doing. Their set at Outside Lands last year was pretty damn magical.
Shovels and Rope play some pretty rootsy folk music, but also have some rock songs. Also they were awesome at Coachella last year (but i've read your Saturday rant in which you didn't like them). Trampled by Turtles?
AC/DC and Steely Dan? Why not just get a Don Henley project on the poster so my dad can bring his R/V, his fourth wife, and make a day out of the damn thing?
This is everything I tagged as folk. Go ahead and pick it apart if you want
