Yeah I admit to be totally wrong about Slowdive. I didn't see Pitchfork getting their first North American reunion show.
I am going to try to make this event.
Hmmm...Death Grips is opening the NIN/Soundgarden tour which starts in Vegas on 7/19, and rolls through Tinley Park on 7/24. I realize they can do Pitchfork Friday and get to Vegas Saturday, but will they really do two Chicago area shows within a week?

I think I might do this now. This lineup is so damn good.
April 24 - Queens of the Stone Age
April 26-28 - Levitation
God damn all three days look good. For the sake of my finances maybe I do this instead of Osheaga... So many wants!
The billing for each day this time looks exactly like what it will be when the schedule is released. And i think theyre short a couple bands for saturday and sunday. Unless there is nobody performing against the headliners.
this lineup is right up my alley, if I get a nice flight ticket deal I'm so there
I know pitchfork and lollapalooza are apple and oranges, but pitchfork imo has surpassed lollapalooza. just my two cents
I might actually go try to see this one. The lineup is pretty damn good. It'd be really awesome to see St. Vincent. Her new album was great.
It is. I saw her two LA shows recently and the live show is incredible, as well.
I have a friend looking to buy a 3 day pass, so let me know of if anyone has extras.
Neneh Cherry added, playing on Friday.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.
I'm selling a three-day pass for $125. Send me a message if interested.
The pass is in the form of an email, so I believe I can just forward the email over.
Surprised there are no alternatives to the headliners this time. And Julie Ruin cancelling has no effect on the day they were on.
So this is the final line up? Correct?
Pretty stoked with this schedule. See you guys in July!
Wow, 12 step meetings at Coachella, who knew? SOBERCHELLA.COM
I'm a reasonable male, get off my case....
