Sure why not..
Sure why not..
Nas > Pharrell? Fucking Saturday night conflicts are going to be brutal.
Chvrches and Nas better not conflict.
Is there any particular reason Sleigh Bells has stayed slotted so late on the Outdoor? They haven't exactly gotten more popular since 2011.
Consensus is they've already played the Gobi and Mojave and the powers that be don't like to have bands playing the same stages and slots upon returning (except for all those that do, like Grizzly Bear).
6/26 Sunflower Bean @ Constellation Room, 7/3 Telecaves @ Non Plus Ultra, 7/7 Mitski @ The Echo, 7/22 Weird Al @ Hollywood Bowl, 7/28 Tokimonsta @ Hammer Museum, 8/3 Marissa Nadler @ The Echo, 8/4 Radiohead @ Shrine Auditorium, 8/7 Sufjan Stevens @ Hollywood Bowl, 8/27-28 FYF Fest, 9/24 Music Tastes Good, 9/25 Lush @ Fonda
So people seem to think chillzzz is a credible-er than average source to trust? Shoot. Muse vs Pharrell vs Pet Shop vs Darkside vs Empire of the Sun is some 2010 Jay-Z/deadmau5/PiL/Fever Ray level shit.
Switch Galantis w/The Internet. Switch Washed Out w/Mogwai. Switch Nas & Sleigh Bells. And switch Future Islands w/Temples
Also - what else you got for us, mmblack??

I just checked each W2 artist's facebook. Some had an events page with specific dates/times. Didn't look at any W1 artists.
I randomally went to sweater beats about a month or so ago and it was actually a really fun set.. Considering how weak Saturday is for me I'm probably gonna go watch him again.
Blond:ish at 7pm on Sunday though sucks cause I already know thats going to conflict with something..
Minnesota vs G Jones
Christian Marting (day)
Sabastian Leger @6:00p
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs
Chrome Sparks @7:00p
Two Fresh - plays in CO the 11th
I'm sure a few artists put the 11th down because that's when the fest start. I only checked Bandsintown, Facebook, and Songkick
Facebook, songkick, and band in town are useless sources for set times, knobs. None of that means anything.
It still amazes me that people use Songkick as a credible source for anything.
gonna be so upset if there is a Holy ghost! fatboy slim QOTSA conflict
God, there's gonna be so many good acts that need to play at night on Saturday that I know are going to all conflict.

last year i pulled a time from dinosaur jr's facebook page. it listed their coachella set at 2pm. they had different times listed for all their festival sets and we used it as confirmation and put them on the main stage, per their billing. they played at 5ish on the outdoor.
