I really enjoyed their set, though truth be told I kept looking at my watch thinking "38 minutes till the Replacements."
They sounded great and Mercer is a real pro.
The white stands in the center of the stage look like they were borrowed from a canceled 70's game show.
I have been to concerts. I will go to concerts in the future.
I felt the same way I did about the Shins in that they sounded GOOD it was just a little too much like the record...I left halfway through to catch Bonobo and wished I had skipped BB altogether, and I am a big fan of them on the records..

The Mercer/Spacey comparison has been around for like a decade now.
I thought they were decent but not stellar. Also was a bit miffed weekend 1 got "Mongrel Heart" while weekend 2 got a mediocre song from the new album instead.
You're kind of a twat, aren't you?

But it's probably been that way for decades...

Definitely the best set of Friday, top 5 of the whole weekend. Was kind of hoping we'd get a couple more songs off the new Album, Changing Lights and Leave It Alone would have been really awesome to see at Coachella.

Nah, being a twat would've been if I said "YOU MORON THE SLOW POPULATION BEAT YOU TO THAT COMPARISON BY 13 YEARS". I thought I was being civil, sheesh.
Definitely would've preferred Changing Lights over some of the other new ones they did.
My bad.

What used to be my YouTube Channel before dozens of my Coachella footage were flagged for copyright and my channel was terminated, erasing 10 years of Coachella and live concert history (that I recorded) from the internet.
