    It still really hurts, though.

    Darkside > Talabot. Final answer.

Definitely. New album will be out soon. I'm choosing Slowdive just because of this.

This would be the worst mistake you will make this weekend. Unless you have tickets to one of two nights at the Ace, do not miss them.

Daphni/Caribou and Slowdive conflict sucks, but agreed that Caribou will be easier to see again soon. And I'm with FEELS, wtf is Slint doing playing at 4 in the afternoon. I know they'll be inside but still.

As for Sunday...basically, fuck Sunday from 5:15 on; too many conflicts/overlapping sets on opposite sides of the venue.

Also, in the app's FAQ's is says that they will be using Mount Kimbie's booking fee to give a free ice cream/popsicle to the first 2,500 people who enter on each day.

I love her recorded material, but Lanza was a bit of a disappointment when I saw her open for Cut Copy a few months ago.

Twin Peaks are playing Bottom of the Hill on Nov 15 for $12; Jacco Gardener is missable (and also playing The Chapel next Tues). I'd say go with Jessy Lanza

Slowdive and Caribou overlap... Not cool. Looks like I'm doing 40-45 minutes of each.

You will have to sit through more than Haim if you want a good spot for The Strokes. Haim fans lined up as early as 8am when they played the Wiltern shows. I imagine most will stay for The Strokes.

No terrible conflicts for me. What I'm concerned with is the stages being too far away from each other to effectively hop from one set to another.

For the most part I'm super happy with the set times. The biggest conflict for me will be Joanna Gruesome/Benjamin Booker. I'm really looking forward to both of them.

Seriously? I like Haim, but seriously? Though if you think that's bad, The Strokes will have all-day campers guaranteed. Though they might cook on the hot pavement. Your best chance for a "good spot" Sunday at the main stage might be off to the sides.

Should be fine but Strokes fans get crazy in the front. The only show I've had to be pulled out of by a friend so I didn't die was at the front of a Strokes concert lol Good times. Listening to their albums on vinyl right now is making that Sunday night conflict a little easier for me but I am seriously kicking myself for bailing on the Deafheaven show at the Great American Music Hall about a month ago. Especially since I had a ticket and was just too lazy to drive up.

Well, you have to remember that they likely have a huge fanbase of high school and college age girls that probably don't see a ton of shows, and that one happened to be in the middle of summer when they didn't have anything else to do.

I've never been more pleased with a festival lineup. Luckily I will see Future Islands on Wednesday night so i'll just skip them at FYF and just see Todd Terje. Splitting Slowdive and Caribou is probably the worst thing going on here, although I'm probably gonna miss Blood Orange since it's sandwiched between Built to Spill and Darkside.
Friday Tame Impala - Ride - Flying Lotus - Caribou Todd Terje and the Olsens - Cloud Nothings - Charles Bradley - The Ghost of a Sabre Tooth Tiger Saturday Jack White - Belle and Sebastian - Ratatat - SBTRKT - FKA Twigs - Father John Misty - The War on Drugs - Run the Jewels - Chet Faker - Drive Like Jehu - Jungle - Glass Animals - Perfume Genius Sunday St. Vincent - Brand New - Gesaffelstein - Panda Bear - Mac DeMarco - Built to Spill - Philip Selway - Angel Olsen - The Orwells
