Tycho is the only one I haven't seen out of that list. The rest are all really solid live and are pretty much how you would expect them to be from their recorded material.

Conflicts are going to be absolutely brutal.

Blood Orange, Little Dragon, and Darkside all have reputations of being very good live. I can say from experience that Tycho is great live as well.

Besides the ones you have already mentioned, I already know I really enjoy the following live:

    Against Me!
    Ty Segall
    Boris
    Man Man
    Angel Olsen
    Joyce Manor
El-P (1 half of Run The Jewels)
    Real Estate

    Haim
    Four Tet
    The Bronx
    Deafheaven

and I am looking forward to checking out the following for the first time:

    Caribou
    Slint
    Todd Terje
    Daniel Avery
    Murder City Devils
    Tanlines

    Blood Orange live, yes.
Goes down better in the evening compared to a late afternoon slot a la Coachella 2014.

Darkside is quite mesmerizing live as well.

Tycho is terrific live. Caught him down at the Constellation Room a while back and was very impressed. Definitely a must see for me at FYF.

Instead of giving a fuck what bands people like maybe spooks should care about how much people don't like him. At this rate more people probably rather hangout with Supra than him and fuck maybe even Ron.

Also Blood Orange is probably my most wanted act to see on the line up for fyf

Thanks for the info, everyone. Knowing people have different tastes, it's still good to hear which acts people think are good live.

If your a hip-hop head, your gonna wanna see flylo. He mixes radiohead, portishead, wu & other stuff with his beats too and his a hometown favorite. His stage should be packed.

Don't disregard Mac Demarco just yet. If you sincerely like his music, you'll really like his show. I saw him 2 weeks ago at the Fonda. Good stuff man. Also take into account that some good laughs are included in his show. The dudes are a fucking trip. Especially Pierce Mcgarry (bassist).

He said, to no one in general...

Slint live are exactly what you would fantasize them to be - just 3-5 dark weirdos performing disturbing audio surgery. If you like Spiderland, don't miss them for anyone.

    Listen to:
Only you, Ode To Viceroy, Brother, Treat Her Better

to get a good feel for the guy. Listen to "Let My Baby Stay" if you're feeling like a softie.

it is definitely not apparent from Tycho's recorded work how good the live show is - but it's performed with a full, live band, and with good lighting, it's incredibly mesmerizing.

I've been loving streaming Tycho at work all day...It's meant to be listened to from front to back.

I keep forgetting how stacked this fest is for the price! Haven't given every artist a proper try, but this is what I be about at the moment:

Phoenix, Interpol, Grimes, Little Dragons, Tycho, Real Estate
The Strokes, Flying Lotus, Blood Orange, Darkside, Tanlines, John Talabot, Jamiexx, Jessy Lanza

His set last year was a blast, although I'm sure it will be immensely more crowded this time around due to his recent increase in popularity.

I've seen Phoenix, Interpol, The Strokes, Julian Casablancas + The Voidz, Albert Hammond Jr, Four Tet, Mac Demarco. That kinda opens up the door for all these other guys I haven't seen or heard. I'm really stoked for The Blood Brothers, Caribou, XXYYXX, Earl Sweatshirt, Daphni, John Talabot and Les Sins. This is a bang for my buck bill. I can't fucking wait!!!

And if we're still discussing Blood Orange, go see him by all means possible. Haven't seen him in a few years (Coachella had a conflict) but I plan on fixing that here.
