Not the chicken kind though. Say one missed out on the official ticket sales, how hard would it be for one to snag weekend 2 passes? I've been to plenty of other festivals, however, this will be my first Coachella experience. I get it... "Noob. Burn 6 turkeys and dance on one foot until a ticket fairy appears." ... "Failure." ... "You should just fly your magic dragon into the festival." ... "Ask your Grandma."
I figure somebody's somebody will not be with them when the festival approaches or Duke, Dale's friend from Wichita, will have been offered a last minute trip to Turkey to sample coffee & suddenly won't need the pre-sale ticket that Dale bought him.
But I'm wondering about a veteran's opinion on waiting it out until the hype dies down a little (people spazzing out & buying StubHub tickets for $1k) and buying a ticket from someone who will no longer have use for it. Anyone made this gamble before?
Also, the whole fraudulent wristband fear. Is there a way to check that a wristband is valid at all? Some festivals I've attended previously have a site that you could check. But this is Coachella. I know. I know.
