I've been waiting forever for this. Thanks for making it happen GV!

I want to fist you and your boyfriend to Tennis Courts. I will have you both elbow deep while reaching for the clouds so you both can see better. Then I will light a lighter while you're both up there, and you'll both glow like a night light. Can't wait.
Love the title of this thread

I'm not a fan of "Royals", but the rest of the album is pretty decent. Try this if you're not impressed by the radio hits:
Outdoor at sunset. We can all make love.
Come on...what the fuck is this she doing at Coachella? And on line 2!? What the fuck has happened to Coachella? hi I know

the love/hate lorde thing is strictly a product of radio it seems.
if this chick had been real low key, opening for bands for years, creeping up on a coachella undercard like 3 years from now, all the kids saying "oh yeah shes been around forever, deserves it" it'd be one thing.
but she was shoved down our throats, played 300 times a day per station, on ALL stations. and the song had a fingersnap in it.
voila, love or hate.
Someone finally gotta hold of a nice young thang with a stand out voice, and produced the tracks of an album that she would play absolutely no part in (besides the co-written [with some 30 year old dude, which would've been hilarious to see come to be] lyrics, which are hugely appealing to teenagers and responsible for her fame), an album that's sound was sure to please the masses of today, with it's deep synthesizers, catchy voice effects, lyrics and bass noises.
Not saying its a bad album, Glory and Gore is sick, and Biting Down and Still Sane are great tracks, the future of the world would be in great luck if kids of today started listening to this shit over Minaj & co., but seeing people in their 30's and 40's at this will be great lulz-
as she's singing about her love interests buying her orange juice (as they should) and sneaking to the tennis courts to talk during class/girls fighting over best friends/looking pretty and running things.
Cheers Lorde, here's to staying relevant.

THIS IS SOME REAL SHIT.
I agree w/prelude - and if I were to crash the Lorde set (I wont be), I would do so as rastahomer:
She was great last night. I love her style. Those dipped fingers were awesome.
Six top moments from a ‘ground-breaking’ ‘historical’ 2014 Grammys where nothing happened
6) Lorde, the New Zealand teen who wrote the song about how absurd our fame-obsessed culture is, continues to be punished by a cruel fate that awards her every possible accolade and as much fame as she could possibly imagine.
