Jagwar Ma: It's finally going to happen!

After about 8 months of discussing how awesome this band from Sydney is in the Rumors/Wishlists thread, we are finally going to have the privilege to dance our asses off to these guys on the Polo Fields. Listen to their album Howlin' and pay attention people, this is the undercard act of the weekend.

In all honesty they would be perfect at night in Mojave, but I don't want any nighttime conflicts so I'll be happy with a 5 or 6pm slot anywhere.

I'm really looking forward to seeing these guys. They have a pretty unique sound and very fun songs. I think that it will make for a great set with lots of opportunities to dance like a moron. I wouldn't be surprised if they're in the Gobi or Mojave around 3-4, kind of the same place Grimes was last year. Though I wouldn't be shocked if they're an early set on the Outdoor Theater. I fully expect a daytime set. They're music is just too sunny to put at night.

Mojave makes too much sense for them not to play there. They can go on at any time of day and they'll be amazing. They were on in the middle of the afternoon at Bestival and they still kicked everyone else's ass that day.

They were fantastic at El Rey last month. Such a fun dance party. Plenty of dancing going on in the crowd and saw many sweaty people trying to catch their breath as the show was wrapping up - no joke, their encore was full-on dance club vibe. They have such a great stage presence and infectious energy. I can imagine them being just as terrific during the day. Will definitely be catching them again. A must see for anyone who likes their music... and isn't afraid of jumping around for minutes at a time.
