Yuma Tent DJ: Mixes some "unreleased" track that sounds identical to his previous releases with a vocal sample from Janet Jackson. He then does a quick cut into a J-Dilla beat, screams in the mic "RIP DILLA" *music connoisseurs go wild*. The DJ wearing a 100% organic sleeveless t-shirt then mixes back to more unreleased music EXCEPT he's mixing the bassline from another track! FINALLY he does some shitty effects on the Allen N Heath (cause the 800 is too main stream for them) into this swift build up that leads up to a shitty phrase from a 90s rapper, then the kick drops and people "vibe to it".
SUCH GROOVES, MUCH MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE, SO DEEP.
**** GROUNDBREAKING ****
Give it 3-4 years before everyone starts calling all these Dirty Bird/Hot Creation cats boring...
^ lol says the guy who likes soulless tripe. I'm willing to bet sonicc also thinks the late Frankie Knuckles is "boring" and "formulaic" :

I am still in shock this thread is still alive.
Now go back to listening to some played out 90s rnb remixes.

Why the fuck won't they just expand the dolab and put all the Yuma shit in there. I hate having a closed fucking tent in the middle paradise! Morons! Make that shit outside! And yes, Martin Garrix would crush everyone in the Yuma by miles.
I got "Martin Short."
I got MLK and Martin Scorsese before Garrix
i can't tell if this is just a giant troll circle jerk or i'm actually going crazy. probably a little bit of both
So what's the general consensus in his set last night?
Can we get a report please sonicc?
Not going to lie, the feed actually looked pretty good. They've dumped some serious cash into that tent.
unfortunately, it's filled with lizard people
Will give full review on Monday. Still in shock from last night.

This thread. Masterful.

Can we take a moment to acknowledge the earnest attempt to compare the personalities and characteristic traits of world class tennis players and DJ's?
You can lose yourself in the rabbit hole many a time and never stumble upon gold nuggets like that.
To be honest, I watched the set and had a pretty good time. There was a disgusting amount of big room house but the crowd seemed really into it and it was pretty fun all around.
