The shuttle stop at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium/Civic Center Plaza is a short walk away from the Night Shows venue, The Rickshaw Stop. Most of the other Night Shows venues are a shortish cab ride away.

I hear you, but I just don't understand why Danny Brown would be playing San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Santa Barbera, Santa Cruz, and then just skip San Francisco on this tour. Maybe they are waiting until the Santa Cruz show is over to announce him. Wishful thinking probably though.
Does anyone want to alternate days giving each other piggy back rides around the festival? Switching off Friday & Saturday and then maybe go halvsies or just don't do it on Sunday?
AC/DC and Steely Dan? Why not just get a Don Henley project on the poster so my dad can bring his R/V, his fourth wife, and make a day out of the damn thing?
Any tips on transportation from Oakland? I'm just going for one day, so a 3-day shuttle pass doesn't make much sense.
The first time I went to OSL I stayed with a friend who lived close by GG park but this year I have a hotel near the intersection of Haight, Gough and Market. It looks like a relative straight shot to the park but I don't know what buses or shuttles are nearby. If there's access to a shuttle I would definitely get a pass. Would someone who knows the area help me out?
To the Fest: Take BART to the Embarcadero Station > Get on Muni's outbound N-Judah Light Rail > Get off around 34th Avenue > Walk North Into the Park.
From the Fest: Get on Inbound N-Judah Light Rail on Judah St (avoid lines by getting on in the 40 something Avenue area) > Get off Muni at Civic Center > Get on BART
Note: If you're headed back to Oakland after 12:30 am, take the AC Transit 800 Bus from Powell and Market across the Bridge. The first stop is the West Oakland BART station, followed by downtown and then all the way up Telegraph. The cost is $4 cash (exact change required) or for convenience, use your Clipper Card.

I looooooove Tallest Man on Earth. That dude's songs have definitely gotten me through a lot.

What did you think of that show? I saw him at a theater in Austin a couple years and was absolutely blown away, but the show at Bimbo's just felt decent in comparison, nothing life-changing or anything. But I was also racing to get to the venue, with 2 chicks with almost no interest in the show, so my experience could be tainted.

Sheldorr is a whiny bitch that's all . Goodnight .
Spicy pie is mainstream shit.
Looks like Pixies wont be a late add. They just announced a fall tour with SF in September.
A couple notes from the Bonnaroo schedule:
Kanye got a two hour set
Arctic Monkeys is playing 1.15 hours sub-subheadlining on main stage.
Also, looks like the schedule is out a little earlier than typical.

What does that have to do with Outside Lands?
I miss talking to TomAz.
We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.

10/5: War On Drugs - The Fillmore
10/8: Fink - The Independent
Seriously? They are both put on by the same promoters - Superfly. It gives us a little insight into what the promoters are thinking as far as scheduling. Obviously everything wont transfer identically because Roo has significantly more time to give to their bands. However, I do think the 2 hour set time for Kanye will be the same at OSL. And I think that it gives more evidence for AM to be playing the main stage. But primarily, we should be getting the schedule a little earlier this year.
I didn't know they were put on by the same promoter, but Bonnaroo is operating under different parameters and has time for longer set times.

the set times for non-headlining acts on the main stage are actually shorter than they have been in the past on this year's Roo schedule. prepare for arctic monkeys to play for 45 minutes.
That is really unfortunate. That's pretty much the only thing Bonnaroo had going for it.

They will get an hour and ten minutes most likely which is the same thing that The National, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Jack White, Black Keys, Decemberists, or Foo Fighters (they got 1.15).
Obviously, Roo has more time to give to their bands due to having 15 hours a day to program, but I still think Kanye is going to get a full 2 hour set. I think the question with Kanye is will we get a Yeezus tour/stage set up or just a greatest hits festival type set?
Yeah, I think you're right. I guess we will find out in June after he plays Roo, since I'm assuming he's going to do a similar stage set up at both.
I actually hope to see the Yeezus stage set up and the reason he got the Friday slot was so he has time to set everything up.
The new recording is 3 hours of spoken word. IF he decides to debut at roo or OSL I think the crowd would get pretty upset.
you are soooooooo good lookin
