and yet that has nothing to do with discussing a television show about discovering new artists

I just have a special vitriol for this song, I suppose, and for all the people who lose their shit everytime some shitty bar band does an even shittier cover.

    And +1 to Cara.

More on the lines if I'm drunk I can get into the whole Arena Anthem songs of theirs but if I'm not Wake Up is a song I've heard way too many fucking times.

    ah, I see.

it was much more interesting when I thought that drunk Zach was speculating about what sober Zach would say.

All day today I had that 4 non blondes song stuck in my head. I planned on posting it yesterday and got sidetracked by a performance by a women competing in Singapore's version of America's Got Talent. She sounded almost exactly like Linda Perry and she cried a lot. So not only was I picturing Linda Perry's face. I was also picturing a weepy Asian lady with a gravely voice.

This, by any artist, is a dial-changer:

    "More Than A Feeling"

Fuck you, classic rock radio at bars and restaurants, there were like four other top ten singles from that album.

I can't take any Boston songs, but do succumb to guilty pleasure in the Static Revenger "Long Time" remix.

Guys there seems to be some confusion but I think Cara was alluding to this:

    2/28 - Caribou - Fonda
    3/05 - Swervedriver - Roxy
    3/06 - Viet Cong - Echo
4/08 - Drive Like Jehu - Glass House
    4/14 - Ride - Fox Pomona

Is watching the What's Up video twice in one day penance enough for my lapse in cognition?

As a fan of Soundgarden, I have to say "Black Hole Sun."

As a fan of the Rock Band videogame, I have to say anything from the first batch of songs you play in that game, such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Maps". Having to play the same songs about a hundred times to get through all those challenges made me really hate them.

I know it's not old enough to be considered classic yet, but I could go 10 years without hearing Latch.

Overall I'm kind of sick of Disclosure at this point.
