Every time I hear Love Shack by B-52s at a wedding I want to stick needles in my eyes.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.
I won't miss this one:
Not a classic, but never needs to be played again:
Back off war child.
I wish I could never hear this song again for the rest of my life.
Not a "classic" song, yet at least, but I've heard that "Do I Wanna Know" song by Arctic Monkeys so many times in the past year that it creates a violent reaction out of me whenever I hear the beginning of it.
That's too big a net.
Not to mention Phil Collins' fantastic solo work. Maybe it's because I grew up with albums like No Jacket Required, but I love so many of his songs wholly and unironically. I really hope the rumors are true about him touring again.
Oh I know. Wasn't really directed at him.
REM - It's The End of the World
could definitely go without hearing that ever again, even during the apocalypse.
It was the Flinstones theme song.

Peter Frampton - Baby I Love Your Way
Is this where we talk about the Linda Perry Project?
think irony in relation to "Classic"
my favorite "Classic" that everybody can't stand
