What, only one picture!?!? <insert disappointing clucks here>
Well, no, but not the best quality shots with my Droid RazrMAXX....
Courtney Barnett was the first act I saw and she lived up to the Coachella hype. I didn't expect her band to be so groovy.
Phosphorescent was next and they played mostly new stuff and I wished they got to play longer because they were terriffic.
I got bored with Amos Lee after two songs: Folk-Rock that wasn't good enough to be called folk or rock.
So I wandered over to the Landshark Lounge and plopped down on a stool. There was no Dog Fish Head to be had on Thursday night. alas.
This is about as much enthusiasm I could muster for Landshark Lager.
Local Natives closed-out the night. The last time I saw them was a noontime (?) 2010 Coachella. They played a "headline" set for huge Delaware crowd and it was a big old love-fest . Thoroughly enjoyable. Although my lasting impression of them is the notion that if Toto was a psychadelic band, it would be Local Natives.
