Damn, Lauren of CHVRCHES, just laid a much needed public smack down on the misogynistic fool that posted an inappropriate snapchat of her having fun during their performance.
CHVRCHES have been very outspoken and I appreciate their continued efforts to address and remedy misogyny within the music scene and society at large. We definitely have a long way to go in this regard, but hopefully we are making inroads.
Wow, Cloud Nothings just put on a fanfuckingtabulous festival set.
I'll admit it, Robert DeLong is good fun. I enjoyed his set when he opened for Booka Shade awhile back and his performance down on the Farm put a smile on my face.

is anyone watching kanye right now? I'd love to know if it's as bad as the internet is making it sound.
A few of my friends who are there say it was one of the best headlining shows they've seen at Bonnaroo, and they've each been to about 7 or 8 iterations of the fest.
The word is that there were plenty of classless dickheads booing and yelling "fuck Kanye" before he even took the stage. He did his usual "rant" as has been a tradition during the Yeezus shows, which people who don't know better are taking as a "meltdown." The last text my buddy sent me before he went off to Mastodon was "if i ever hear anyone tell me that bonnaroo has better crowds than other fests im going to kick them in the balls. fuck these people."
