That Skrillex superjam is beyond bizarre.
Gotta love how they have half a day with little of interest and then boom, conflict city. Janelle Monae vs The Naked and Famous, Chvrches vs Neutral Milk Hotel, and the Saturday late night clusterfuck are all unfortunate. Also, Warpaint is one of the bands that would actually benefit from a longer set because of their extended jams, but no, they only get an hour. Still, would be a solid weekend.
Thursday: Thao->Cloud Nothings->Banks
Friday: comedy->Janelle Monae->Chvrches->Neutral Milk Hotel->Yeezus->Disclosure
Saturday: Bobby Womack->Damon Albarn->Lionel Richie->Lauryn Hill->Jack White->run around
Sunday: Okkervil River->Warpaint->Washed Out->Little Dragon->Elton
12/16-18 Day for Night
sonic and solar stages added to the schedule. also the christmas barn(?) and maybe some other shit. and typhoon dropped off saturday's schedule. he's sick or something.
Minor schedule change for Saturday night. Zedd is now on the Which before Jack White, Cut Copy is now in a tent, and there's an empty spot after the Skrillex superjam. I'm starting to think they'll add another artist or do some more shuffling. Kind of add to leave a huge gap open like that.
Fuck these changes
Been a couple times and without fail always enjoy the Umphrey's McGee late night set--I've never seen them outside of Roo, but always the best time. And this year, they get a daytime set? I feel bad for them--that really sucks.
Maybe I will head back on down in the next few years--I've gone for both Radiohead bills and had a blast.
RBMA Bass Camp brings Mannie Fresh, Francois K and more to the after-hours Sonic Stage at Bonnaroo.
In June, Kanye West, Elton John, Skrillex and dozens of other bands and artists will be heading to Tennessee for Bonnaroo. So will Red Bull Music Academy.
RBMA Bass Camp will setup this year at Bonnaroo for the first time. In addition to providing recording studios and living spaces, and offering lectures and workshops, to a group of 20 RBMA participants, there will be a series of after-hours performances and a public lecture.
On Friday and Saturday, from midnight to 4:30 a.m., the RBMA Sonic Stage in Centeroo will feature sets by Bass Camp participating artists Austin Paul, The Madd Wikkid, Daltn, LULU LOVE, BoomBaptist, Niko Javan with Dorian Terrell (of The Outfit), DJ A1, and a B2B DJ set by Catt Moop (of HYDRABADD) and NEVR. The headliner on Friday is house music legend Francois K; the headliner Saturday is Dirty South hip hop innovator Mannie Fresh.
Not only will rapper and producer extraordinaire Mannie Fresh be headlining Saturday night, but his public lecture is open to the public. The lecture happens Saturday afternoon, from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., on the Solar Stage.
Tune in nightly (June 12-15, 7-9 p.m.) to RBMAradio.com/bonnaroo to hear more from RBMA Bass Camp. After the festival, recordings from the performances will be streamed.

Is Spooks going to Roo?
Literally the most frustrating set times I have ever seen. I'm happy I'm not going
