Thank you. I can get a much better grasp of the site now.
Poster artist lineup for the festival.
Here's the Flatstock artist line up for Barcelona at the Primavera Sound Festival in 2 weeks - WooHoo - proud to rep Canuckistan and spread some screenprinting love/live printing with my friends at Monostereo. This is a first, taking the popular live printing demos from Austin and Seattle Flatstocks over to Europe. Thanks to the American Poster Institute Institute, Speedball Art Products, and Greenscreen usergroup by Sefar Holding for helping make it happen.

Just landed in Barcelona this morning! Did a bit of walking around and picked up our wristbands this afternoon. I'm so excited!! Been dreaming of making it to this festival for years now.. Gonna try and hit that Brian Jonestown Massacre pre-show on Wednesday, but in the mean time, running around doing some touristy stuff until the Fest starts! Woo!

Anyone else listening to the webcast? Warpaint just covered David Bowie's "Ashes to Ashes" while the sun was setting and by the Mediterranean. BRB, going to jump off the roof.
Yeah, I am. Great Feed. So, you've been before, correct? Would you recommend going again? Set up from the map looks pretty decent--crowds look massive, but I felt even at a Roo the large crowd size was manageable and as long as site lines at main stages were ok, then I didn't really care.
Anyway, anyone who has been before and and can give a quick run down would be greatly appreciated. Read a few posts about the poor food, but hell, its Barcelona, they have the best food right now--so that wouldn't bother me at all.
On it! They must go until 5am there or something seeing as how it's 1am now. And on a Thursday!Watching at The Stream Lab, fyi

Yes, the festival goes until 6am most years. it doesn't really even get full started until 6pm.

I went in 2011. It seems significantly bigger now. Apparently 60k a day instead of 40k. For starters, the former main stage is now the ATP stage and the current main stage (actually two of them) have those massive photo pits and crowd control barriers through the best spots, which they didn't have before.
Crowd reports are minimal so far, and it seems they have their share of assholes, but people at Primavera apparently still actually care about music. Warpaint had the mainstage sunset slot and drew a huge crowd, and I think that says a lot about Primavera versus our major festivals.
Well, I mean Warpaint is the only band that matters at this festival......
That is what pains me. Great lineups year in and year out. Last year's lineup we booked rooms and were going to pull the trigger, but a new job got in my way. Hope to make it maybe next year--despite the size it just seems like the best excuse to spend a week in Barcelona. Haven't been since I was way too young to appreciate it.
It's an example, genius, and the most relevant one to draw upon so far since it so dramatically illustrates the enormity of the contrast.
The internet at work was being too wonky at work, so I didn't get to hear the webcast, but how was Arcade Fire? Nice setlist.
Headphase, regarding food, it was pretty terrible when I went, but there is great food across from the festival site, so I'd say load up before going in so you only have to bite the bullet and buy something in the fest later in the night once.
Wow, Yamantaka // Sonic Titan is crazy. Crazy good.
There is a low quality rip floating around, also wasn't their webcast cut short?
I remember the days when water was free and porn cost money.
when i was watching it cut out for at least a few minutes, but i don't know if that was on their end or mine. seems like AF was interrupted for a few people so it might have been the stream and not my connection.
I'll up it later today for you...it's
406p quality
