Default Big Guava Music Festival - Tampa

FWIW, yet another music festival scheduled for May 8-9:

This is in its second year but scaled back from a three-day to a two-day festival. It's entirely a Live Nation production. Early-bird tickets just went onsale for $89 GA, $109 GA pit, and $325 "Super" Guava (plus large TM fees).

The lineup is okay IMO, but the top two-thirds seem to be mostly derivative of the other U.S. spring music festivals happening this year (seriously though, Hozier billed on the top line?). For my money, I think Shaky Knees is much better choice that weekend if you live in the Southeast.

I'm surprised Classixx is still playing shows, but didn't get booked at any of the other festivals announced yet, as far as I know.

The Free Press Summer Fest lineup will probably look pretty similar to this.

And yeah, Shaky Knees is way better. But this is decent.

Strokes haven't played Florida since 2006. Closest in recent years was NOLA and Tennessee

They are also on the lineup of CRSSD fest in San Diego.

I think I'm going to this. And I like this lineup BETTER than Shaky Knees, although it's obviously not as deep.

One big single and a good agent is all you need.
