Have you ever taken off all of your clothes, folded them neatly and placed them on the ground before taking a poop at work just to extend the lenght of time you are in the bathroom and away from your desk?

A sales rep from Office Depot gave me a fun sample pack this morning. So many sample post it notes. Did you know that they make full adhesive post its now? There's apparently a whole new world of surfaces upon which I can stick post its. The pamphlet portraying these post-it consuming offices depicts a nightmarish work space where there are post it notes everywhere. EVERYWHERE!

You're admin in the wrong office. Don't they give out "fun sample packs" of stuff at doctor's offices from pharmaceutical reps? Or is that just on Weeds and bad Jake Gylenhall movies?

Nope thats real, I was in a doctors office for an appointment when some drug rep came in and tried to put out as much clevage as possible while talking to the doctor about a new wonder durg her company had just made, the doctor turned around and gave me the sample she had just given him and I gave it right to the trash.

The last time I needed antibiotics, my doctor was able to give me enough free samples to fulfill my need without having to write me a prescription.

Also, it's typical for my computer motors to have a minimum or 4-7 different colored post-notes on them,. and there are usually a lot more all over my work space. I require a lot of reference notes.

I can't stand having bits of paper notes around. I use my calendar like a to do list and use outlook for all my appointments, reminders, and such. My email folders are a storage system with everything I need, and I have to archive stuff a lot since they get full quickly. Clutter makes me insane.

At my first ever office job, my supervisor commented on my clean desk. He told me that I should at least throw a few folders on there to make it appear like I'm busy.

Truth. My gf gets an endless supply of NuVigil at her office from reps, which is fantastic and highly recommended.

    Sent to the entire department:

Thank you for cleaning your rotting food out of the kitchen refrigerator.

A suggestion for next time: Please tie up the garbage bag when you are finished so that the entire kitchen doesn't
    stink from the spoiled food.

Do appreciate your taking the time to clean the fridge though!
    Love that last sentence.

I somehow lost my secret-secret stash of candy
I usually lock it in my drawer every night. The only other people that have a key to it is my boss, the controller and Cara.

(There is a possibility that I may have left it out on Friday while I was rushing to leave)

You left out the candy or the key?

I was asked to come in and close the store tonight but the powers to be forgot to find an opener. So there is no one leadership wise running the store and no one to open our department and I'm just sitting here at home sipping coffee. I guess I can go in early, but I'm going to finish my coffee first.

This is good, though. This feeling you're having, this, "ugh, I can't wait to get the fuck away from everyone here" emotion, can at least provide you with some perspective as to how everyone feels about you, all of the time.
