Do you have a room with a beach view?
Do you have a room with a beach view?
I do this time, although they face the beds away from the window. Great design, eh?
Over $10,000 in 4 days. Wow. Thank you again for the support, CMB! Man, words will never feel like enough.
donated, your strength and attitude are inspiring Steve.
I meant to donate a long time ago but forgot until now. Hope this reminds others too.
Let's go on a livin' spree!
Thanks so much, Josh! Truly appreciate it! Really hope I can find a way to be on the polo fields to thank you all in person this year!
Will try and get a little update going in here soon, too. Still waiting on the call, health has gotten a little better, but the body just ain't catching up the same for some reason, probably because I am getting old, hit 36 on Xmas day. 36 going on 80 most days it seems, haha.

August 29th, 2:30am. That's when the call came from Stanford that they found me a match. Currently driving up, a couple hours away. Thanks for the continued support, will check in in a week or two when I am a bit recovered. I love you, Coachella!
That's great news! Hoping for a speedy recovery
Such awesome news.
All the best Steve!
I remember the days when water was free and porn cost money.
Can you freeze dry your old lungs, so we can use them on a totem pole in 2016? That may be the only design that could possibly beat out the dead baby fetus pole.
Lungs from Stanford have to be better than Berkeley.
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
I would like to take possession of your old lungs and have them transplanted into me to prove that I can cure them with pure willpower.
This was posted a few hours ago on his gofundme page. Things look good.New lungs are in! Doc just came and let us know that everything is going wonderful. Took awhile to get his old lungs out because they were so beat up and scarred. New ones fit perfectly. They are closing him up now and we will hopefully get to see him in the next couple of hours. First 24/48 hours are the most critical but doctor is very optimistic that all will go well.
Wow, 12 step meetings at Coachella, who knew? SOBERCHELLA.COM
I'm a reasonable male, get off my case....
This is such good news, Steve! I'm so happy for you and your family!
I wish you a continued speedy recovery.
The most recent update from the gofundme page:
It's been less than 48 hours now , 39 1/2 hours to be exact, since the transplant and Steve is doing great. Just seeing his chest rise up and down as he breathes is incredible. Since the breathing tube has been taken out he has not coughed once... Not. Once.
We wanted to take moment to send our love and eternal gratitude to Steve's donor and his family. All we know is he was a young male from the mountain time zone. We know they must be in pain right now and hope that maybe in knowing that his passing brought new life will give them a little peace. With his amazing choice of being a donor he has given a new life for someone who desperately needed one. We hope one day they will get to meet Steve and see the wonderful gift that has been given to him. We love you.
So he will probably be in the ICU for about a week then be transferred to a room. The first critical 48 are almost over and I feel nothing but peace and positivity for the days to come. We can't thank you all enough for all the love, prayers, donations and support he and we all have been receiving. I'm sure he can't wait to share with you all his experience in his journey to his new lungs. I'll will keep updating so please continue to share his story because a new chapter is about to be written...
