OK, so the name is terrible. But this festival is cheap as hell and the lineup isn't terrible. It's not exactly inspired, but could be fun.

Yea, I just bought tickets. $150 all told and it's only a 15 minute drive from my place so no way I could miss out. Holland park is fairly small from what I know. Surprised that's the venue. Wonder what the attendance will be like

Mumsons played Holland Park in 2013, I think the capacity is something like 25,000. It must be more than Deer Lake Park (roughly 10K) or they would probably just have it there since it already has a stage set up. Wonder what the noise curfew will be. Most outdoor shows seem to be 10PM but maybe Surrey is different? It seems weird to have a bunch of light show DJs playing in the day time. If they have to be done by 10 only the headliners will get any sort of darkness.

Ok, I guess I was wrong about it being a small venue. I just read an article in the Province where they said it's 14 acres and has a capacity of 25,000; with blueprint apparently expecting 22,000 each day. I'd definitely been interested in knowing the noise curfew because there are apartments close by. Hopefully it will be at least 11. Anybody know if there will be multiple stages or just a single big one?

Decent price for the acts booked. Right near a skytrain stop so travel is VERY easy. Also note that both headliners are Canadian.

Down side is the curfew that shouldn't be much later than 10 or 10:30pm. Surrey police should have their hands full.

    Obvious more than one stage.

Just tweeted them and they said there are going to be 2 stages and that it's gonna end at 11pm. Obviously would be better for a lot of these acts to be on when its dark out but at least 11 is not too early. Should get dark around 730-8 so at least we'll get to see a few light shows.

1 side of the park has some tall trees which should help the light shows.

Its a nice park. Went on a run through it today in the sun and checked it out. Excited to see Vic mensa, Tyler and the Weeknd. Hopefully they can add more singers/rappers. Not the biggest EDM guy but still should be fun.
