Loved that that Horrors set. Great way to end Friday night.
Coachellas: 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 w1, 2013 w1, 2013 w2, 2014 w1, 2014 w2
I saw a few videos ex post facto and also couldn't believe how sparse the crowd was. Their last album was so good and those guys are so talented. Glad to hear someone enjoyed it, though. If they're back in 2014, I will crawl in my own vomit to catch their set.
Tour dates double confirm the reflektors
My favorite thing about that Horrors set was how the keyboardist and guitarist looked and dressed like they were from two diametrically opposed ideas of a rock band's image.
"Several acts playing APF7 can’t be divulged because they’re also playing Coachella, which gets to announce them first. Expect a second wave of Psych Fest acts after Coachella drops its lineup in early 2014."
(so the bands listed on the first wave of the Austin Psych Fest lineup are out)
There's still a possibility. I'm sure not every band has to announce Coachella first
Dang. Does Coachella have that much control over other festivals releasing their line ups? Or is Psych Fest also a Goldenvoice festival?
I don't know that it precludes those bands from playing; it simply says the among the APF bands that haven't been announced yet are bands that Coachella is announcing first. I don't know that the rule is necessarily that Coachella gets to announce every band playing both fests first.
The Black Angels
The Black Lips
Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks
Unknown Mortal Orchestra
Oneohtrix Point Never
Acid Mothers Temple
Shannon & The Clams
Good point, Miroir
I'd wager a bet that Ty Segall/Fuzz is one of the bands Coachella's announcing first.
Black Angels' posted tour dates go up to the beginning of March ending in TX. So all of April is free!
(i just really want to see them again)
Alright, who is up for a frozen lemonade bet on the matter?
This reminds me that ragepatton still owes me a lemonade from our Rodriguez bet last year.
