The phoenix area has alot of good local bands and hip hop artists as well. I understand you guys have some serious sahara tent hatred but jeez get over yourselves.

"Phoenix has a bunch of local bands that play frequently, so you'll get to see them with the added bonus of paying a lot more because of shitty EDM headliners. What's not to love?"

So it's going to be at Salt River Fields, which is actually a pretty great location for a Festival.
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.
What makes it a good location?
I miss talking to TomAz.
We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.
It's a very central location, nice green grass, and there are 7 separate fields that are pretty spread out which will work well for a multi-stage festival. I still think the lineup will be terrible but I'm happy with the venue choice.

I'm not sure, I knew it was in December but I don't think there was a specific date.

Agreed, Salt River Fields is a pretty great location. Tons of parking and a lot of space to work with. The website still looks like it's from the 90s though. And the ticket pricing/plan seems kind of lame.
Still, definitely curious to see who they might pull in.

The only reason I'd ever buy presale to this would be to support the possibility of finally having a decent music festival in AZ. Maybe if it can limp through its first year, they can take some cool pictures, make a fancy promo video like all the other festivals, and hopefully pull in some good talent in the future.

You don't want to support something without knowing first what you are supporting.
