Romero movies are boring bullshit. Also, I don't think that half of the people agreeing with you are talking about the Romero Dawn Of The Dead. I think they're talking about the Snyder Dawn Of The Dead. Which demonstrates how much your opinion SUCKS.
If you block out that the movie isn't related to the book (which should have been an HBO mini series) and that it's PG-13, it's actually a decent movie.
Also, the zombies piling on top of eachother in the trailers looked down right silly, but when you see the movie, it's not that cheesy.

Zombi or Day of the Dead.
Anything is possible...
Night of the Creeps killed. Thrill me.
The original Dawn of the Dead has everything if you're into classic zombies, and general survival.
28 Days/ Weeks for those of us who dream of the zombie apocalypse.
Return of the Living Dead series for that classic cheese-ball 80's feel.
Thriller was pretty killer as well.
Not a zombie movie, but I always thought Maximum Overdrive had the perfect zombie film feel.
A cool thrift store find.
