Thanks mate, feeling fairly gutted about this right now. Pity it is mid morning over here otherwise I'd be drowning my sorrows, on the other hand it is Saturday mid morning...
I think we'll carry on with our trip and just make the most of that weekend. Our plan was to drive from Seattle to Portland via Sasquatch so might now just spend more time in Seattle as sounds like there will lots happening that weekend, anyone have any recommendations for places to stay/visit between Seattle and Portland or in the general Columbia River area as we now have a bit of spare time on our hands?!

what a shame. I guess I'm glad I didn't buy tickets for weekend 2 even though I was tempted.

Sasquatch forum thread. Goes from denial/mockery of this forum to heartbreak.

Less than 2 weeks ago they were still doing July updates on facebook, then a couple weeks of only May updates.
Tickets sales must have been very bad if they never offered single day passes or other ticket promos hoping they make it up on booze sales.
The cancel fees won't be cheap. It wouldn't surprise me if 30% of the talent budget is non-refundable.
That explains why I couldn't find the purchase ticket link the other day. A big bummer, and I need to see Kraftwerk but I don't want to shell out 70 bucks...
I don't feel kinda bad about laughing at someone's misfortune, but this is hilarious to me
Neutral Milk Hotel at the Gorge was going to be one of the defining experiences of my life. Fuck this. FUCK. THIS.
DREAM BIGGER
The Portland Bluesfest is on that weekend. Free in (except for Sunday) with the donation of some canned goods as it's in aid of the Food Bank. Sunday has Gregg Allman headlining and a ticket is required. It's a fun place to go; it's down by the river. http://www.waterfrontbluesfest.com/
Nick Cave is playing Portland on the Saturday night; I'm going to that hence I didn't get a ticket for Julyquatch.
Hood River is a neat little town to visit in the Gorge.
Too bad it got cancelled. That was a great lineup but needed one or two more acts at the top.
Sorry to everyone that had tickets and were really excited to go. Such a huge bummer they cancelled it. I hope you still visiting Seattle enjoy your time there, I went to SU for college and being in that city was the best four years of my life.
