    Default Coachella 2013 Thoughts/Experiences

I wanna know what you guys all thought about Coachella this year, and maybe some cool stories? This was my first year, and I thought it was fucking amazing. I went weekend two, and it was the most incredible thing I've ever done.

This was my 4th Coachella and, based solely on the music, my favorite thus far.

Wish I could have gone both weeks.

Now that it's all sunk in, I can say this was probably my favorite year.

Granted I've only been going since '07

Easily the most amazing festival I've ever been to. It was also my first year and I was completely blown away.

I liked it. It was fun. This is a worthwhile discussion and you've all made valuable contributions to the dialogue. It was neat! Wow, amazing!

I also have to add that I was extremely impressed by the Sahara tent. Probably the best outdoor EDM stage I've ever experienced. Better light shows and sound quality than some indoor venues I've been to in the past.

This is a thread about memorable and highly descriptive Coachella experiences, not hippiefuckfestivals.

The sand storm was a new experience for me, never been in one before. It was like that darude song they play at sporting events, but real life.

My first Coachella I walked in the door and cute girls yelled at me "HAPPY COACHELLA!" made me and my buddy smile hard. So every year I go back and I yell happy Coachella at people who don't react at all

But it seems random cries of COACHELLAAAAAA work better...

I'm a little sad at how impossible it is to start massive crowd shouts when the festival is over. At Lollapalooza when a night ends and the thousands of people are meandering out it's really easy to start a shout. You hear it off in the distance getting louder as people join in and it starts to surround you and before you know it all you can hear is 100,000 people shouting into the night.

Happens sometimes at Coachella but not nearly enough.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world.

Everyone at Coachella is too much of an individual to participate in that kind of group nonsense.

Especially the 5 guys I saw wearing the same Urban Outfitters shirt as me.
