Did you not get parking passes with the wristbands? Bummer, there's a lot right behind the mainstage.
Steve, my guest passes come with parking...lot 3 isn't marked on the map so I was figured it was the big unmarked empty lot right by the main stage...are you confirming that this is where the artist guest parking is also located?
Yes, but not sure how they route you in there nowadays, have had an RV the last several years so no more driving anywhere once we get in. The last time we went we were directed in through the VIP parking lot. They also charged $20 a day to do so, so be prepared.
$20 bucks, huh? Is that security trying to be slick and earn some "extra" money or is that standard?
Yes, I was VIP parking last year with my guest passes but I guess this year it's different parking passes. Is the guest access any different this year than last year? Last year it was pretty restricted, which was surprising. I hear this year the passes function more as a true all-access minus actual "on stage" access.
Who needs to actually get ON the stage???
Guest access is same as last year, not sure what seemed restrictive to you then, but nothing has changed. Special sections at front of stages, access to artist compound, VIP, the road/area behind the fenced in stage areas.
