When I went several shows went over capacity but not a lot of them, they did a good job of spreading everything out and yes the walk through town is truly easy.
Asheville is a magical place that deserves to be visited at least once.
NMH will hit capacity in the auditorium.
doing away with the outdoor venue plus the smaller lineup last year definitely helped the crowd issues. no outdoor stage this year but back to three days will be interesting.
sexy...

Upcoming Shows:
this lineup is really attractive. need to find a way to do this...
April 24 - Queens of the Stone Age
April 26-28 - Levitation
So Im guessing the NIN + HTDA package is the thing to do for the fall fests. If only it actually got worked out for Coachella.
Hoping for some Cut Copy and or Hot Chip, but yeah it looks great so far and I will be buying a ticket on Thursday.
Cut Copy + Trentemoller live would be very welcomed. I love the lineup so far, but seriously, when booking a serious festival like this, who goes "Ya, lets get Bassnectar."
Upcoming Shows:
Fever Ray: 5/18 @ Metro
Radiohead: 7/07 @ United Center
Smashing Pumpkins: 8/19 @ Xcel Energy Center
Metallica: 9/02 @ Kohl Center
Metallica: 9/04 @ Target Center
Metallica: 9/08 @ Alerus Center
Riot Fest: 9/14-16 @ Douglas Park
Metallica: 10/16 @ Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center
Metallica: 3/09 @ KFC Yum! Center
NMH and GYBE at an "Electronic Music Summit"...
People who want to sell tickets? Look, I hate Bassnectar and Pretty Lights too, but the fact of the matter is they sell tickets. Plus their presence will make it less crowded for shows you actually want to see.
I'm hoping for Cut Copy and !!! among the additions, but I'm not holding my breath. The xx and Atoms for Peace would also be awesome, but I highly doubt either of them would be in the additions. As is, this lineup is already a pretty damn ideal lineup for an electronic fest (with some un-electronic names).

Impressive lineup so far and I bet the festival itself would be a great experience.
GENERAL ADMISSION WEEKEND PASS PAYMENT PLAN
Includes access to all 3 days of Mountain Oasis 2013. General admission passes/tickets are available for purchase in multiple payments through our payment plan for 4 payments of $50.00 each ($200.00 total, plus applicable service fees), while supplies last.
Lame its not at the 149.50 price for Layaway...but that will help me if I choose to do this.
Upcoming Shows:
Fever Ray: 5/18 @ Metro
Radiohead: 7/07 @ United Center
Smashing Pumpkins: 8/19 @ Xcel Energy Center
Metallica: 9/02 @ Kohl Center
Metallica: 9/04 @ Target Center
Metallica: 9/08 @ Alerus Center
Riot Fest: 9/14-16 @ Douglas Park
Metallica: 10/16 @ Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center
Metallica: 3/09 @ KFC Yum! Center
$200 would be worth it for NIN, HTDA, and NMH alone.
In regards to Pretty Lights and Bassnectar, hopefully one is playing during Neutral Milk Hotel, eh?
I wonder if there's a chance of a Manorexia add since Thirlwell will already be there with Zola Jesus (random, sounds awesome).
So with 50+ artists to be playing altogether, the poster only has 22 names, less than half of the lineup to an already stellar lineup despite Bassnectar and Pretty Lights. Yep, buying tickets Thursday. Moogfest last year was one of the most fun festivals I've ever been to and I can't wait to go back.
Also, Ahleuchatistas, Andy Stott, Buke & Gase, Death Grips, Harold Budd, Morton Subotnick, Nas and Tim Hecker & Daniel Lopatin were all additions last year. If they can match that sort of calibre of additions, we're in for a treat.
So much good stuff at this. I am seriously tempted to go...

Upcoming: 04/10/15-04/12/15 - Coachella Weekend One; Foo Fighters - 09/27/15 (Isleta Amphitheater - Albuquerque, NM)
Who's excited about this fest?
Me! I think i'm in. I've already priced out some airfare to do this and voodoo and make a weeklong vacay out of it.
Ya, I think Im gonna pick up 2 payment plan tix...

I am really considering this fest. I want to do Voodoo as well but getting time off at work will be impossible to do both.

last year i tried to buy the payment plan and when i got to my cart, it charged me for the full ticket so i just said fuck it and bought it. i can't really afford that thisyear, so hopefully the shit works.
Id rather pay in full and save myself 100 bucks overall, but with Coachella tickets probably going on sale in 4 weeks, I need money for that layaway too...
