...what the hell is Ringo Starr doing these days?
...and you know someone has to say it; but Bowie just put out a new album. Ain't gonna happen, I know, I know, but I'm freakin' pissed about Lou Reed.
Even though I look like one, I'm not a cop.

oh, a thread full of stupid people making stupid indignant demands. Go on...
The negative backlash of a non-replacement will bankrupt GV for years to come.
The best plausible idea I have heard so far is Iggy Pop & the Stooges. Very similar fan bases, looks like there is a gap in his tour dates, and he probably won't be too expensive.
He was supposed to play in LA in November with Morrissey but that got cancelled. Only catch is he's playing the Ink n Iron fest in Long Beach in June, but hopefully that wouldn't be an impediment.
Well anybody who is able to fill the spot isn't going to do it for free. Thats all I know. With the track record that GV has in replacing acts in past years we all know its not going to happen so I could really give a shit less.
Another name who could do 60 minutes is Robert Plant. Though his Australia tour ends Aprill 11th, so they'd have to swap an act from Sunday for that to work.
An independent Senate Judiciary Committee should be able to determine the relative monetary value of acts that have been added to the lineup after cancellations to balance the equation.
