lol can see for yourselves.
This is the guy I'm thinking of...
Hmmm I'm not sure I seen him... I was actually at that show on 8/13 that he was supposed to be at, maybe I did see him. I actually ran into someone I met at a restraunt, at the same concert later that night which was pretty odd but cool same time.
Have you guys heard of Betty White's "Off Their Rocker?" FANTASTIC SHOW!!! BAsically old dudes punking young unsuspecting victims. Love this!
I don't trust anyone under 40.
I took my younger kids a few years ago - camped and all, but they aren't too up to returning (fears of having to tag along with who I want to see...)
I strongly encourage your getting there late thursday or before the crack on friday morning to set up at least your canopy and catch a few more zzzzzzz in your car or get into the fest line early and kick it under the shade for a bit. it's been a while since i camped day of the show, but it was brutal, especially with the entry and heat as early as about 7 (also depends on the weather - last year weekend 1 was very nice.)
im a somewhat premature white haired groupie...

Is 40s really that old these days anyway? half the bands are that age anyway, Metric's singer is about 40 and she's hot!
Our crew is pretty "old" compared to most of the masses that flood into Coachella every year...but when we started on this Journey back in 99' it didn't seem like it then.. oh well time flys..enjoy it as long as you can...keep rollin' on..
Get off my lawn, you damn youngins'!
Back in my day, if we wanted to get into a music festival, we had to walk for miles through 100 degree temps and sometimes the occasional dust-storm. Why I remember, all the way back in 2-aught-13...
I hope to someday die of spontaneous human combustion, and in my final moments, I want to give each and every one of you a hug.
40 is the new 20! Or is it the new 60? I forget...
My husband & I are older than you, by 10 yrs., this will be our 5th Coachella. Car camping is the best way to experience Coachella. We have never felt unwelcomed, each year our camp neighbors have been great. In fact we made friends with "kids' our 2nd year, we continue to meet up with them every Coachella. You will be in the minority - but better late than never!
My husband is 54 and this is his 3rd Coachella. So there's all ages.
35 is the new Get the Fuck Outta My Bed, Bitch.
Ron, are you going to be there weekend 1 or 2?
Original Poster: If you're in your mid to late forties, then I'm old enough to be your Father and I've attended every Coachella Music Festival since inception--except one. I even took my Mom to Coachella one year. (She had never seen Paul McCartney.) So, Coachella is an "ageless" festival. That being said, I still can not understand how you youngsters can even afford to attend Coachella these days; it's the Baby Boomers with all the money, at least in the USA. You recent college grads can't even find a job flipping burgers, so how are you affording Coachella?
