I noticed that per his website, he has press passes to both weekends.
What an awesome weekend of Coachella right?
Yeah. They gave me press passes and VIP both weekends mainly because of a meeting I had with them after festival season. I contacted them to offer some suggestions on ways they could improve the festival for next year. We had a really great meeting and they even listened to a couple of my suggestions. Pretty cool.
Media is not as exciting as it sounds though. Just a bunch of people pounding on computers. I did get to interview the people who do all of the Sahara VJing as well as the people who created the Modern House art installation. You do get free waters, fruit, and popsicles though.
See you this weekend!

Holy shit, you actually made two people who HAVE SOMETHING TO DO sit and listen to your ridiculous bullshit?
I know right? Pretty funny. One of the things I suggested was a raised platform so we could take pictures above the crowd. Screen shot 2013-04-17 at 5.32.49 PM.jpg
I was stoked when I saw the platform in between the outdoor and main stage.
The other one they listened to was recycling in the campground. Last year that would just bust open the bags and do the recycling themselves. This year they gave us the options which I thought was much better.
I suggest next year we improve the festival by giving people detailed instructions on how to remove their wristbands. Think of all the wrists we can save.
This thread was epic! I've never laughed so hard.
Almost as good as the "how much are thickets, I don't want to camp" thread.
I'll bet he's just adorable IRL.

Has anyone read his festival reviews? They are fucking terrible, it's like a 5th grader wrote them and they are pretty much useless. I am really happy that my wife and I didn't run into him at Coachella this year.
What would your wife had done?
Most likely she would have just pointed him out to me, after that who knows what I would have done
In the face?
He hasn't interviewed me. Has he interviewed any of you? What a douchebag. Dude's a fucking failure.:Interview people that add to the festival experience that might not get the press they deserve.
He interviewed me, he just didn't know it. Asked me four fucking times if I could just touch fingertips with him and "feel the positive energy, resonating from the speakers to our soul."

i ran into Tucker late night in the dome area of the camp grounds on Saturday weekend 1. i get asked to take pictures here and there. After taking this one, i realized who it was:
we got into a bit of a discussion. i tried to explain the negative feedback he got here and that led to other topics. i was holding up my group and cut it off. Wished him luck in his endeavors and was wisked away. Steve and Dani were around, but only i had the pleasure of the encounter.
i do. It was a tad awkward, but i got over that.
How hard would it be to see something that you think is useless and just ignore it instead of trying to make the person that made it feel like shit?
^Pretty unprecedented on these boards. Might as well throw the internetz into that. Most people who are here do ignore it.
Based on what i can tell about Tucker from his grilling here, his website and our brief encounter, he's doing just fine. His Coachella appeared to be wonderful and no one here brought him down. Props to The Festival Guy.
