Wow, 12 step meetings at Coachella, who knew? SOBERCHELLA.COM
I'm a reasonable male, get off my case....
The big names are stronger, but the undercard doesn't stand a chance. When it comes down to it, the reason we all go to Coachella is for the unexpected surprises and the electric atmosphere that makes it world-renowned. Every artist dreams of bringing their "A" game to the heart of Southern California. I can't say anything close to that about Bonnaroo.
Kendrick, Asap and Animal Collective all had really solid releases in 2012 and I would have seen them had they been at Coachella but they have all played too recently. This year there arent a lot of repeats from the recent past which is one of the reasons I think Coachella's lineup is better.
And I would also be down with Petty, thats some classic americana type shit
yeah yeah yeahs bass nectar passion pit band of horses beach house infected mushroom foals wolfgang gartner beardyman phoenix the xx hot chip grizzly bear benny benassi franz ferdinand two door cinema club yeasayer major lazer fedde le grand zane lowe vampire weekend pretty lights tame impala la roux excision gaslight anthem roni size the airborne toxic event
all played since 2009 soooooooooo yeah coachella did a GREAT JOB of booking new artists.
Coachella is better than bonnaroo cuz theres no repeetz nor aidz needlezzz
last year had 17 repeats since 08 so um yeah theres more repeats this year than lasts.
Yeah Bonnaroo's lineup is better. But I'd still take Coachella over Bonnaroo for the grounds, weather. Although Bonnaroo does go all night which is awesome.
R Kelly and Bjork would be awesome.
There are zero repeats from last year and 28 from the previous three before that. There are also 30+ more acts on this year's lineup compared to last. So the increase in repeats isn't surprising, especially when you go back four years.
fuckin lucky bastards get boys noize and we get dog blood .....I don't want to see skrillex's lame ass
Coachella's electronic music lineup shits on Bonnaroo's. Also, fuck Daniel Tosh.
yes, but fuck skrillex
wahhhhhh we get his new project instead of his solo project waaahhhhhhh. Dog Blood is more Boys Noize than Skrillex.
Here's a weeklong act, unique to Bonnaroo:
Coachella lacks humidity, and features Dead Can Dance- the camping is better, the dance music is better, and IMO the undercard is better (although I'd love to see Ed Helms)
I 100% agree with you. Wise words!

LOL this is what somebody wrote on Facebook in response to me when I said Coachella is easily the best music festival in the North America.
Just wanted to share the laughsI'm not going to get into an argument but the gorge in washington is the best venue and Bonnaroo is the best festival in North America and has been for 12 years. How can you compare anything to 120,000 people and having modern, rock, hip hop, oldies, folk, dance and comedy all at one festival?! Coachella has a soft line up this year and next to no hip hop or anything other than mainstream.
