fitting (and sorry!)
So I just watched the pilot. Not sure if I'll allow myself to get caught up in the rest. It was enjoyable, I relate to Hannah to an extent, and also find her laughably pathetic.
I'm curious how you a fight a copyright claim for uploading a major television series, lol.
Also I would advise ThatGirl to just stop feeding "the troll" but I don't see that happening.
I felt the same way after the pilot episode. it wasn't until episode 4 or 5 that I started finding characters more relatable and then episode 7, "the crackcident", changed everything! stick with it
I've finished with the first 4 episodes posted and I have to say the second season is just as good as the first. At least I'm not bored with it. I get why Lena was on the cover of rolling stone now. I hope the series has a long run.
I liked Jessa far more in season one. She is more interesting when she's vulnerable, like in the bathtub scene with Hanna. The only characters I've liked consistently are Adam, Shosh and Elijah.
Adam hasn't really changed as a person. He's pining after Shoshanna because she's the most sincere girl in the social group. Since the beginning, he's been the most sincere person on the show, so it makes sense. Of course, in the midst of his crisis, he also needs shelter and seeks comfort, which he finds in Shoshanna. Not sure how much longer this show will last, but I can see Shoshanna moving back home with her parents once she graduates and being ok with that.
Ray and Shosh. 2 seasons in and I still don't remember names. I confused Ray and Adam.
This is the one show I talk about with friends, coworkers, and the internet, so I'm always mixing things up and crossing over conversations. A coworker was complaining about the direction Ray's heading this season. Carry on.
Episode didn't really require analysis. Adam proves he's possibly the most interesting character on the show. Also, HEY LOOK AT WHAT HANNAH'S CONTINUING PLOT ARC WAS THIS WEEK, GUYS. IT WAS HER STRUGGLE TO RELATE TO THE WRITTEN WORD, NOT ABOUT HER COMING INTO HER OWN AND DECIDING SHE'S READY TO BE LOVED. WHO THE FUCK PREDICTED THAT, I WONDER.
A great episode yet again. Kinda hate that Booth guy, trying to pull off the tortured artist look way too hard aha. I really like Ray's character development this season, at first he just seemed like another jaded old hipster. But that confrontation with the girl about the dog, and that last shot were great. Adam was A+ in this show again.
9/22 The Mekons @ Pappy & Harriet's
I agree that both Ray and Adam were great, and I also loved the phone scene with Marni and Hanna. Neither is willing to admit they are struggling. It's like they need each other now more than ever but are both too proud to admit their troubles to each other. I hope Ray keeps Mike the dog.
lol, I knew I recognized the actor that plays Booth Jonathan from somewhere...he's one of the Lonely Island dudes. He's really convincing at playing an asshole for having his origin in that group of clowns.
Watched the whole show on HBOGO over the weekend. Pretty, pretty, pretty, prettyyyyy, pretty good.
This is gold:
either way, i get really annoyed with people who advertise themselves as these great lovers of animals and then make other people take care of them, but that's probably more of a personal annoyance than anything to do with the show lol.
Is it just me or when ever Booth comes on I just wanna sing " dick in a box" or " jizz in my pants" I dunno....
