Definitely think TDCC is too big for the outdoor. They were busting at the seems at the Mojave in 11 and have only gotten bigger
The Replacements --> The Knife --> Outkast
I could easily see Violent Femmes in that just before sunset Outdoor slot, followed by Two Door right after them
Bat for Lashes v. Grizzly Bear...ugh
Im pretty sure loco dice are playing on sunday now
Where is the sunday thread?
What if we switched Violent Femmes and Descendents?
I left my PS template at work and was thus unable to update the threads this weekend. I will go through everyone's posts this afternoon and try to get Friday and Saturday updated. An initial Sunday thread has been put up as well.
Its all good autopsy turvey, thanks for doing this! Most of us are weekday warriors anyways, using company time at its finest!
Booka Shade into SMD would be amazing. Really hope this is the actual case.
The way this day is now scheduled means that I get to see full sets (minus the time spent running from stage to stage) from Simian Mobile Disco --> Postal Service --> New Order --> Yeasayer --> Phoenix. And, if we throw Violent Femmes back to where Two Door Cinema Club is and switch those times up (like we should), I get to see Violent Femmes too. All in all, this schedule is a winner, which is as good a sign as any that we're off.
I would like to second the claim that Moby (definitely) and Hawtin (less definitely) will be in Sahara. The new stage is presumably not a very big one, and they are billed for the Sahara, and probably both at night too. This would throw 2 Bears, probably, in the new tent, and bump everybody down a slot, which is fine because the Sahara is starting late anyway.
Since we don't know anything about how this tent is scheduled yet, I'd say we can assume billing will have at least something to do with it. And, as bizarre as it looks on paper, Knife Party/Benassi/Moby/Hawtin are the four highest billed acts.

Booka Shade needs to be moved out of the Sahara. Early evening in the Mojave would be my guess
I know I have said it before, but I really think we should swap New Order and Hot Chip.
Does Danny Brown really seem like the kind of hip-hop act that's going to play the main stage? He seems much more likely in an early Gobi or maybe Mojave spot like Azaelia Banks had last year. Same goes for Action Bronson, who I agree will lead into Brown. Allen Stone, on the other hand, will play an early main stage spot for sure.
I could see Action Bronson on the Main early. Danny Brown seems more like a Gobi act though

What about The Postal Service? Has there ever been an instance of a band getting an hour and then the next act just 50 minutes?
