I really don't want to support this festival.
But...it would be crazy if OutKast is a headliner.
They do have a gap between Sasquatch and Governor's Ball.
austin psych fest mentioned back in January that they couldn't announce some of their artists until after the coachella lineup was announced. that's slightly different, but still relevant. there's probably all sorts of variations of clauses in those contracts depending on the band and what goldenvoice is able to negotiate with them.
"#BRNV is a festival like no other! We have 5 decades of rock represented this year! Everything from Rock n Roll Hall of Famers to brand new up & comers. More than 30 bands slated to be announced this Friday! Stay tuned..."
Heart is a new "Like".
If this is OutKast's Northern California festival, that would be a major coup for this festival.
It looks unlikely OutKast is playing Outside Lands because of scheduling. That could leave Rock the Bells, too.
Is there anything more to the Foo Fighters' rumor other than some random statement Dave Grohl made at an event last year?
were there any hip hop acts besides Macklemore (does he even count) last year? it seems a pretty out of left field for the aesthetic of the festival, especially when the tweet stresses "Rock" so much.
Sleep - Crystal Ballroom - February 6th 2015
Dr. Dog - The Fox Oakland - February 12th 2015
Ride - The Warfield - April 13th 2015
Swans - Regency Ballroom - April 17th 2015
Sleater Kinney - SF Masonic - May 2nd 2015
I noticed a comment on twitter: "Who's catering this year? Y'know, since you single-handedly put last years caterer out of business..."
that's awful if true.
Very random lineup

oh my gawd Outkast AND The Cure?!
I might need to go now
The abundance of shitty 90's bands is frightening.
Wasn't it really expensive last year like 300 or more
Spicy pie is mainstream shit.
Seeing the Big Bang theory song live will be a magical moment.
Spicy pie is mainstream shit.
oh god Big Bang Theory is the worst
Just checking, but they did have single day tickets last year, right?
edit: yes they will sell single day passes per website.

FYI consequence of sound has a version of the poster that also includes
band of horses
tv on the radio
Pretty sure I'm in for this.
Some bands yet to be named, but what's on the poster is enough for me to feel good about going.
Very pleased with The Cure.
Anyone know what the promo code is and how much single day tickets were last year?
The Cure? OutKast? TVOTR? Hot damn i'm in for at least Cure/OutKast days. Nice little weekend up in Napa.
The lineup overall is very strange, but some solid bands on there.
